The Battle of Tom Odom

I was listening to this episode and was astonished and disappointed in the false information spread by the guest. I’m a Longshoreman in the LA/LB harbor and a member of the ILWU Local 13. The guest erroneously blamed the union for the vessel’s backed up during the covid pandemic because of upcoming contract negotiations. That simply is not true. As a matter of fact, we were breaking records every month and moved more cargo that year than ever in the ports history! And on top of that, we worked through covid for the sake of the country, and lost several members to covid in the process.
