Thank you Mike Rowe!!!

I’m sitting here in Puyallup, WA fresh off a cross country trip spent listening to my favorite podcast. Six days on the road pulling a fifth wheel trailer gets a little boring at times. My wife is fully engaged watching whatever series is popular right now and my 3 year old is off on an adventure with Blaze and the Monster Machines in the backseat. I’m left entertain myself on what was the least eventful stretch of Interstate of the journey just outside Butte Montana. Then I hear it. From Hollybush to Hollywood. I mentally pause for a second. Wait, did he say Hollybush? I know a Hollybush; no-way it’s the same place. I mean no-one has heard of Hollybush, KY. Right? At least no-one outside the hollar. That was one of my favorite episodes. You see, this time last year I was in Knott County, KY while my wife worked at Hazard ARH. My wife is a travel nurse and we spend countless hours on the road traveling from one assignment to the next. I said all that to say this. Mike, Thank you! Your podcast has kept me entertained and alert while driving from one stop to the next. I’m glad to hear the short stories are coming back, (The Rest of the Story was my favorite on FM radio) but I also really enjoy the witty banter of the current format. And of-course we all want to hear more of America’s Grandmother. Keep up the good work.
