Hey Mike & Chuck, i’m catching up after being away for a while. In episode 206, Chuck took a personal interlude, during which time you, Mike, delivered a monologue about your purpose on the podcast. In the following minutes, Mike, you ask a question of the listener and Chuck. You asked “Why do they listen?” But in your preceding monologue, and the last 15 or so episodes specifically, there’s been numerous occasions of the answer to this question. Unapologetic authenticity. In a world full of fake news, filtered photos, where everyone has an opportunity to be online, I choose to listen either to things with which I disagree or things which push me to become more of who I want to be. I want to be known as authentic. Happy, sad, melancholy or gleeful, I want to be real and be surrounded by and known by those who appreciate me because of my authenticity. Thank you for offering some of that to a village of people who appreciates it.
