Always entertaining
I truly enjoy having this podcast in my rotation. Generally I like more tightly edited shows but Mike, Chuck, Peggy and guests have lovely, interesting conversations worth listening to. Love the jingles!

Great singing commercials!
Was it Chuck holding that long note on that one commercial? Amazing! I love how you sing all of the commercials. So great! I love the barbershop harmony's. This podcast makes me proud to be an American and inspires me to buy more American made products and encourage my kids to work hard in whatever career they choose, whether they go to college or trade school.

Modern Age of Enlightenment!
Mike and Chuck lead an entertaining, educational and illuminating guide through the world we live in.

Entertaining and Smart
I love listening to The Way I Heard It! I’ve been a fan, since it was the podcast for a short attention span, and I continue to enjoy the longer episodes with Mike, Chuck and their guests. I especially love episodes with America’s favorite grandma, Peggy Rowe!

Love the long format
Mike and Chuck are entertaining on their own, but together they’re hilarious. Add a guest and you really have a long format podcast that works. Mike’s style of interviewing is so conversational, you really feel as though you are eavesdropping on 2 (or 3 if Chuck is hopping in) people just talking about whatever is important to them. Their solid grounding in common sense is what has me on their team, but what I come back for is to hear who they’re going to have on next. The guests are all stellar and so fascinating, mostly people you’ve never heard of, but who do really cool things. Like most, I love it when Mike brings his mom on the show. I cheer on Mike’s celebration of the working class, especially the trades. Even though I have an academic background, and I teach for a living, I have a heart for trades-people. In my teaching I see so many students, who for one reason or another, struggle with coursework, not because they’re lazy, but because they’re a square peg trying to fit in a round hole. Whenever I am in a situation to advise, I ask them if they feel like they are in the place they should be, spending all that money on a promise that may never payoff. When their answer is basically “I want a good paying job”, I tell them to Google the average pay for a welder, a pipe fitter, a mason, etc. I can’t recommend this podcast enough. Keep it up fellas!

Awesome
Mike, I am a 42 year old male. So technically, I’m the same age that you were when you started dirty jobs, although I am not a B-list celebrity. I’m just a B-list person…… Keep up the awesome content! I listened to you today, instead of listening to Keith Urban. You rank!

Really enjoyed the podcast with Rob Long

Change title
Mike AND Chuck, You both do a great job. One thing I would change is the name. “The way I see it if only my view wasn’t obstructed my Chuck’s body mass”!!! Just joking. On a serious note though. I was working on a loading dock in 2008 when the financial crisis happened and I was watching Dirty Jobs when I wasn’t working. Some of my coworkers were college graduates pulling and pushing freight with a pallet jack because they couldn’t get a white collar job. Because of what you were teaching me through your show, I decided that I would strongly push trades to my two boys. They are both certified welders now and I just want you to know how very appreciative I am for the dirty jobs you did back then that helped me guide my boys in life. Blue collared and happy, Mitch

Easy
Not so hard to leave a review. Appreciate your honesty and allowing the conversation to happen naturally

Laughing
Thank you for bringing laughter during a time of heavy sad news all over the world. Yours is the only podcast that I truly look forward to. And the singing commercials do make me laugh too. But why are you so darn mean to Chuck?

Enjoy the show
And the 5 stars go to me, for figuring out how to leave a 5 star review. It only took me a 1/4 of a day to figure it. Big fan of the Podcast and appreciate the “real life” approach and unscripted content.

Help Me
After all you really can’t blame the leaf blower!

Love it!
I absolutely love the friendly banter and the song commercials. I too don’t skip them like on other podcasts. Definitely one of my favorite podcasts.

Great show. Love the knowledge
Started listening when it was the 5 - 10 minute clips of stories. Loved them enjoy the new stuff as well. Especially when you have someone on that bring knowledge of subjects I enjoy and can teach me something. Keep it up.

🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
Yes, please keep the harmonies coming!! I loved the in-person mail bag show…and I can’t wait for the Rowed Trip Live unscripted performances to begin.

Office Manager Position
Out of curiosity, is your open office manager position for your virtually working team a virtual position? Because you couldn’t pay me to live in California, but I live in Wyoming and am willing to travel! As always, keep up the amazing work and guests!! PS The way I heard it live is a great idea. What an incredible tour that could become.

Great podcast
Yours is one of my very favorite of podcasts. You guys keep me laughing and please quit threatening to fire Chuck. He makes the podcast, he and Peggy! She is a doll! Love her to the moon! But Mike you are great too and I learn so much when listening. You have fascinating guests. Keep up the good work.

Grab a drink and enjoy the show!
This is a worthy podcast. Mike Rowe is a great speaker and a dying breed of genuine, common-sense, logical pontificators. He is the kind of guy I’d love to share a glass of Knobel with while listening to him bloviate about life. As if he isn’t enough, Chuck is the yin to his yang. They balance each other and make for great entertainment - and you might learn something too. So grab a drink, subscribe to the show, and open yourself to new views on life…and sing along when appropriate!

Keep singing.
The haters can skip it with all the other ads. Don’t be so mean to Chuck. I like the mailbag, but I like the interviews best.

“The Way I Heard It” is awesome!!
My wife and I love this podcast! Mike and Chuck put on an entertaining, lighthearted and informative show consistently every week. His guests are incredibly interesting and they bring out content that typically doesn’t make the news but is very relevant to anyone. We also his bonus episodes with his Mom. She put up with a lot raising him and two brothers. She is a delightful person.

Love it!
Such a great podcast! I never miss an episode! Keep the singing ads!

Just for Chuck.
While I enjoy the show with a fine glass of Knobel (aka granddads whiskey) the guests and the stories are always interesting and a joy to listen to. Oh yeah Mikes not bad either.

Barbershop
I love the ads done Barbershop style.

My favorite!
By far my favorite podcast. I’ve always loved everything Mike has done. As someone who’s done the dirty jobs my whole life, I thoroughly appreciate all Mike’s work. This podcast is no different! I’ve listened to every episode. I subscribe to a lot of podcasts but I will jump ship on anything I’m listening to when a new episode of this comes out. Bonus my young kids can listen too assuming the subject is appropriate, no worries about language. 10 stars if I could!

Best podcast of its kind
I commute at least two hours a day, and I fill that time with podcasts. I have to admit I am a true crime junkie, but that is not always what I want to listen to; so when I’m not listening to a murder, I’m listening to Mike. He and Chuck and Mama Rowe make me laugh and make me think. Great show.

Love this podcast
Always interesting. Always entertaining. A must listen for anyone who feels like the world has lost its mind and you just need a breath of fresh air.

What the Chuck
Straight shooter, best banter, if you don’t agree, go Chuck yourself.

Mailbag
Always enjoy these episodes. Please do more.
