Simply the Best
Hands down my favorite podcast that I listen to. I look forward to Tuesdays when the new episodes drop, and love the occasional bonus episodes on Fridays. I love how Mike and his guests are entertaining even when presenting facts about certain issues/concerns. It’s all done with a light hearted take- you never feel like you’re being preached to, which is GREATLY appreciated and rare these days. This show is entertaining for all age groups. I got my whole family to start listening ranging from 20 years old to 80 and they’re hooked. Give it a listen. You’ll love it too.

Mom of Hard Work U student
Thank you for speaking at our daughters college! She said it was one of the best convocations she has attended. She is one of the ambassadors that helped that night. Our family is from Iowa, and we are definitely fans of yours! That night you spoke, you mentioned the podcast. So here we are!! We are enjoying going through and listening to your episodes. Thank you for all your hard work. Blessings to you and your adventures!

Awesome show
So glad I found this show. Really loved your conversation with Vinnie T. NSNG. I just found him on IG. Love finding like minded people!!

Weigh us down
Mike and Vinnie together again! What a trip! Always looking for truth, it’s good to hear some.

Fat
Great conversation. I’m watching Fat tonight!!

Refreshing
Haven’t listened to an episode in a bit, and they’re now going back into my weekly rotation. It’s so nice to hear logical, respectful, interesting, and informative conversation. Thanks, Mike!

Weight
Great info in a confusing world of experts.

First review. Ever.
Great show as usual. I’ve listen to every minute of every episode. Big fan. 5 members of my family are “Rowebies” via NSNG. Keep it up Chuck & Mike!

Episode grandmother is done writing Christmas cards
Love your show Mike, especially when your mother is on! You mentioned the comment to "kill your darlings".... one of my all-time favorite bands is named Darlingside and that's where their band's name came from! They all went to college together and creative writing teacher told them that. They are a wonderful group that does a lot of harmonizing because they also sang a cappella together in college. Thanks for having such interesting shows!

5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Here is your quick 5 ⭐️ review! Not a 4, but a 5!

Thought-provoking and entertaining
This is an excellent way to pass an hour or so every week. The conversations that Mike has are consistently thought-provoking. They frequently make you stop and think (and smile).

Fat, Fat, Fat, Fat …
Sorry Chuck. You guys are the best!!!

Short format or Long format… every episode is a great listen
Mike Rowe is a national treasure, and spending 10 minutes or 90 with he and Chuck talking about anything is time well spent. I was skeptical of the new long format as I loved the “short attention span” shorts, but my gosh… it’s like sitting down and having a beer with good friends, while also being educational. The addition of original a cappella barbershop ad stingers is fantastic… and keeps me from hitting fast forward on the ads like I do every other podcast.

Hope never dies
Truly inspiring conversation among adults who have well articulated, informed, intelligent opinions. As Mr. Rowe suggests, authenticity is something we crave. And this helped my daily appetite for that. Thank you guys for staying true to who you are and providing authentic information and insight

Violin versus fiddle
You asked me to tell you who I am. I am a Christian retired college math teacher. I don’t follow baseball. But I loved your story. Thank you, guys. Keep up the good work, guys. Lori

Amazing Podcast
I really like the shorter format better, but the guests they bring on are very interesting.

The Best Podcast
This my absolute favorite podcast. The guests, the topics, the discussions, and the humor all rate five stars. Thank you Mike and Chuck and team. Now, we need a Returning the Favor reboot!

The story of Tom Odom-
Both episodes of Tom Odoms story was entertaining and informative! I loved every episode of The Way I Heard It! Mike and his constantly fired side kick are laugh out loud fun! But also very eloquent, knowledgeable, and entertaining !

The Battle of Tom Odom
I was listening to this episode and was astonished and disappointed in the false information spread by the guest. I’m a Longshoreman in the LA/LB harbor and a member of the ILWU Local 13. The guest erroneously blamed the union for the vessel’s backed up during the covid pandemic because of upcoming contract negotiations. That simply is not true. As a matter of fact, we were breaking records every month and moved more cargo that year than ever in the ports history! And on top of that, we worked through covid for the sake of the country, and lost several members to covid in the process. You can confirm the amount of cargo moved by going to the Pacific Maritime Association website. I love Mikes podcast, and I hope he makes the corrections on one in the future.

Best podcast
I never miss this podcast. Love Mike Rowe, even people or subjects I am not interested in come on, it's always wonderful. Or informative.

Fantastic!!
I do not ever miss this podcast. Mike Rowe is a caring & compassionate man who wants to help others and is a wonderful story teller. I support his foundation and love the work he does for the trades. My son is a Millwright and loves his job - he has no school debt and he is a hard worker. Thankful for Mike Rowe and all he does!! Love your Knobel whiskey, too!

Short and sweet
Although Mike always does a great job, Loved his bonus story: Big Stars, Little Stars! Just like original format Just like the old "Rest of the Story “. Something for the curious with a short attention span! Thanks

Very soothing
Always informative and interesting! Love MIKES voice thank you

Great podcast
Listen every week. Great guests and discussions.

Don’t Alway Agree, But Still Worth the Listen
I don’t always agree with Mike or his guests on certain views, but overall, the topics discussed are given a fair shake all around. I do miss the short stories that this podcast started out as, but occasionally a repost or a spur of the moment newly written one makes its way into the listener’s ears. And of course, there’s America’s Grandma, who puts up with Mike and Chuck’s shenanigans every time she’s on. The one thing I always look forward to is the unofficial, unlicensed jingles for the podcast sponsors. I always find myself humming along to the bass line as the harmonies resonate within my cranial cavity.

The Way I Heard It by Mike Rowe
I have been listening to this Podcast for 3+ yrs…I listen every week and I thoroughly enjoy Mike’s episodes. It is informative, and humorous and just the right amount of time. If you liked his show Dirty Jobs, you’ll like his podcast, too. Thanks Mike and Chuck for putting on interesting subjects. Great minds think alike!

Great listen every time
I teach math, lead a staff, sing, do maintenance and think about why? Of course I like this show! My son’s favorite show growing up was dirty jobs. Thanks Mike!
