Listen and walk
Each morning I take a walk, the days I have your show to join me in the walk are my favorites. I enjoy the banter you and Chuck share. You can tell you are longtime friends. Like everyone else your mother is AMAZING! Thank you for sharing her with us.

How appropriate to listen to your dear mother read her story about her neighbor, the Iwo Jima war hero, on Veteranā€™s Day. What a gift she has, and thank you for sharing it!

You are an amazing storyteller!! You paint such a vivid picture. So far i am loving your motherā€™ 3rd book and will have to find her first two!

Always a great listen!
Mike and Chuck (yes, even Chuck) are great. Ok, truthfully, Chuck is pretty great. How could he not be great? I mean Chuck Norris, Charles ā€œChuckā€ Brown, Ground Chuck (great burgers) all are great Chucks! I seem to be digressingā€¦ Anyway, I always enjoy the podcast. Excellent topics, thoughtful discussions, and a great host. Thanks for the podcast and keep up the great work!

Just say Nyet!
This one was an awesome, funny, informative, and nostalgic episode for me! President Ronald Reagan has always been my favorite president!

Donā€™t Fly Over the Story
I have been playing catch up and listening to all the podcasts in order. Today I listened to ā€œDonā€™t Fly Over the Storyā€. While I have enjoyed many and have a personal Top 10 list that include: Gary Sinise, Travis Mills, Tim Allyn, your mom (love her-own all 3 books), etcā€¦, this episode had me nodding my head in agreement so many times, I probably resembled a bobblehead. Thank you for this. Just, THANK YOU.

Five stars in perfect harmonyā£ļø
Mike and Chuck conducting amazing interviews with interesting people and even making the advertising enjoyable.

32 years with a blue collar
Iā€™ve always loved your show and your voice overs , and appearances on fox , but Theo is why Iā€™m now listening to your pod cast ! Your ready to run !

Love it!
Such a great podcast!

Almost 5 stars
Great show-fantastic conversations! The barbershop singing for 5 minutes is the worst and is just not good when canā€™t get to the phone to end the show or ffwd. Mikeā€™s Momā€™s book is so enjoyable and love that she is reading it. Amazing author and story teller! Did I mention how awful the barbershop singing/screaming is in your ear buds at the gym?

From a 51 year old opera singer turned housewife
Mike and Chuck are the absolute best. Every show is entertaining, relatable, and informative. Makes my week. I canā€™t tell you how many people I have told about this podcast. Keep ā€˜Em coming guys. ā¤ļøšŸ‡ŗšŸ‡øšŸŽ¶

The Hangman and the Windsor Knot
As I am a huge fan of the person in which you were speaking of. I always wish that you would tell a story about the greatest showman (according to me) on Earth still today. This artist is still going strong and getting better and better every time I see their shows. This yearā€™s show makes it the 26th time since 1988 when I first saw their shows. Aside from that I truly enjoy listening to your shows. My fiancĆ© and I listen to it and ā€œplay the gameā€ of guessing each episode. Keep up the good work Mike (and Chuck too)

GREAT!
Love the way he makes you think of the big picture. America needs to listen to what keeps us great

Thank you
Iā€™ve enjoyed so many of your podcasts. I grew up in Gardenville and graduated from Northern HS (Baltimore city) in 1979 then attended TSU and Essex CC. My husband graduated Mervo then Essex. We both never completed 4 years college but somehow managed to raise a family and make ends meet. Mike, is there a place I can purchase your motherā€™s book and a portion goes to mikeroweWORKS?

Mike Rowe
I love listening to The Way I Heard It. One of my favorite podcasts to listen to while reading

Nice
This is a good podcast to listen to on the way to work.

Thanks Mike. These are great!
I found ā€œThe way I heard itā€ after taking a walk during the spring of 2020 down my local bike path where I noticed a shirtless Mike Rowe walking and talking on his phone. I said to myself ā€œHey, thatā€™s Mike Rowe from dirty jobs and deadliest catch. I love that guyā€. I had been looking for something to listen to other than my go to playlist for my pandemic walks, so I did a quick search in the podcasts. I discovered the first episodes with the short stories from his book and quick commentary after. I thought they were quite entertaining and provided many laughs and smiles. I ended up listening to several each time i went on a walk. Then Mike shifted to the long interview format and continued to enjoy them. They have inspired me to do additional reading and find his guest podcasts as well. I 100% recommend these to any curious person. Thanks Mike!!! These are great John Engstrom Tiburon, Ca

Just a great podcast
Love the great information given with good lighthearted banter.

Every Tuesday
I truly look forward to every Tuesday. Guests are always interesting and well spoke. The relationship Mike has with Chuck just adds to this great podcast. If there were 6 stars Iā€™d give it that.

Such a breath of fresh air.
Been a fan of yours for YEARS, Mike. Your podcast has been such a great change of pace. I listen to a lot of podcasts (mostly politics), and it gets SO old. Listening to yours is always interesting, funny and insightful. Reminds me that there is more to life than red vs. blue, vitriol and bull crap.

More Baltimore please!
My favorite podcast. Humor, wit and occasional intellect ;-) A truly entertaining and informative show. But please, less singing and more Baltimore accent, especially from Chuck. Thanks guys!

An odyssey for the mind
I enjoy listening every week.

Love you Mike!!
I positively adore Mike Rowe! He has the an incredibly emotive, expressive, and soothing voice. From Opera singer to Dirty Jobs and beyond, this podcast feels like a peek into Mikeā€™s life, heart, and soul.
