The poem Paul Revere's Ride is by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow it's about the heroic midnight ride of Paul Revere to warn the people of Lexington and Concord of the British troops that were coming. Now, it was a nice poem, but it's all fiction. So what really happened in seventeen seventy five, Well, the British they were going to go to Lexington and arrest Sam Adams and John Hancock. So Paul Revere and William Dawes were sent to warn them. Now, by sending two men, they had a better chance of the message getting through if one of them happened to be captured. Now, it was the middle of the night, and the guys, yeah, they got lost. Well, it just so happened. They ran into a doctor who
3:31 was going home. He said he was returning from treating a patient turned down. He was with his mistery. But anyway, doctor Samuel Prescott, now he did live in that area, so he knew it well, so he said he'd take him up there. Well, on their way they ran into a British patrol. But Bestcott he had already been there and told the Contolonial army exactly what was going on. They had already sent him up to Concord to tell them. As for the poem, why did Longfellow only talk about Bob Revere's Ryan, Well, he thought his name just went better with the poem.

Three airmen died in parachuting out and four more were captured and killed on the ground by the Japanese were occupying China. Doolittle and sixty eight other airmen.
