If she's not the she is one of the coolest moms in our country right now. Is welcome Samantha. Why don't you tell everybody about yourself? Hi? My name is Samantha aka the Running Line Mom. I have a platform that is surrounding my favorite things, running, drinking, and currently being a mom, and really, how the heck am I trying to balance it all every day? Because it is the wine is needed for trying to balance it all. Well, I think that's pretty much everybody needs a little wine now and then don't yes, some more than others, which is kind of a cool transition today. Now everybody listens, they know that I usually talk about the national day, but I don't usually have a co host who's an expert at it.

1:24 All the star. It's my favorite day, National Drink Wine Day. And if you didn't know, people who've been drinking wine for over seven thousand years. They have even found a winery in Armenia that dates back to four thousand DC. But wine has changed over the centuries, and that's really, what today is all about today is for you to change and try different wines that you normally don't drink. The adventurous, be daring, have fun experimenting. Just have fun today drinking wine. If anyone says anything, you just tell them you are self educated and broadening your horizons. So what kind of wine would the running Wine Mom recommend?

2:06 Well, currently it's winter, so I'm in the red zone. My cousin is actually a winemaker in New Zealand, so it is in my blood and he has decibel wine. His decibel Pean War is probably my favorite, or his Junta which is a red blend. And Judica, fun fact, is my grand's maiden name, so that's what that's named after. So those are not only good wines, but I know they're made by a great winemaker. All right, people, so now you have no excuse not to go experimenting with some wine. Well, you have your own book out too, don't you. I have a couple of journal prompt books. Yes. I work also in addition to being the running Why Mom, I am a high school helping to dead teacher. So I worked with my students. My newest one is a teen journal that you can get on Amazon, and they helped me kind of create all the questions that teenagers would want to know to kind of raise their self esteem and get their mindset right.

I'll probably like interview my family members. And then it kind of people just kept saying yes, and they keep saying yes, which is great. I've got to interview some of like my favorite authors, my favorite fitness people, people online.

He painted landscapes and in every painting that he sold he always wrote a poem that he attached to the back of it.

Also, he had one Actually he had just watched one of the Magnificent sevens with him with my mom the other day. Ye had one child, Yeah, there's like I think the first one was Joel Brenner and the next one was George Kennedy. So yeah, there's been a bunch of them ever since. In the early nineteen sixties, Kennedy had one child from his first wife. He had two kids from his second wife. They divorced after twelve years, and then two years later, Yeah, they got remarried. Then they divorced five years later. So then he married his fourth wife or third woman in nineteen seventy eight, and they had three children. So Georgie I had to keep working a long time with all those kids. Died from hartseas in twenty sixteen at ninety one years old.

She is Yoko Ono ninety two today. Born in Tokyo nineteen thirty three. She married a Japanese guy for six years. After they divorced, she married an American in nineteen sixty three, but they had to have this that annulled because she was legally still married to the Japanese guy. They still had a daughter. Yogo married John Lennon in nineteen sixty nine. They had a son, Sean. John was killed in nineteen eighty. Yoko has released twenty two albums and forty singles, most of which were after John's death.

Dennis de Young is seventy eight born in Chicago nineteen forty seven. In nineteen sixty two, when he was fifteen, he formed a trio called The Tradesman with two thirteen year old neighbor boys. One play guitar, one played drums. Dennis sang and played the accordion. By nineteen seventy two, they had added more members, changed their name Stix. Dennis switched from the accordion to the piano and has sold over fifty four million albums. Oddly, Stix is not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They have never even been nominated.

The other guy said, hell, no, we're going, grabbed the new lead singer and headed out. Dennis got really mad and sued the guy while they were all out on the road. He lost, and they haven't led him back in since. Honestly, the guys were kind of tired of him anyway, which ended up being a good excuse for them. Dennis married in nineteen seventy and has two children. Yeah, you know Styx is a little before your time, but do you know anything about him? There's oh my gosh, I'll be so invested mister Robato, right or no? Is that them? Ye? Yes, okay, I'm like I know them. I didn't know all the drama behind them though.

It's kind of weird that worked out that way. Yeah, she started out as a model. She had big in her very first movie, started in the Last Picture Show, then she did The Heartbreak Kid, Taxi Driver, and then for us, Well, my genera is not Samanthas, but we really got to know her when she started with Bruce Willis and the TV show Moonlighting. Then she had her own she had her own sitcom, Sybil, but it was pretty bad. She's actually used ten albums over the years, but we didn't play I didn't want to play any of hers because now you know why I played Aljiro. She had a daughter from her first husband's and she had twins from her second husband. Now, we usually talk about actors and actors, actresses and singers and stuff. We don't usually talk about people behind the scenes, especially the people who make the movies. So I want to take you back to when movies were about people and not just special effects and comic books. John Use he made movies about people. Johnny was born in Lansing, Michigan in nineteen fifty started out writing for National Lampoons.

He was nominated for Oscars for Saturday Night Fever and for Pulp Fiction. He married actress Kelly Preston in nineteen ninety one. They had two sons and one daughter. His oldest son died at sixteen, and his wife, Kelly died in twenty twenty from breast cancer. John has two movies that are due to be released.

So, Samantha, besides being a mom, you're also a podcaster, coach, a teacher, a writer. So you know he needed to teach time management classes, is what you need to do here. I do really I think I'm really good at time management. That's something that I pride myself on. When I was in college, I learned about time blocking, and every week I write out pretty much every hour of my day, including my rest days like less time, which kind of gives me like, I don't know, I love time management stuff.

24:21 Well, it's a good at it. So what else do you want people to know about? Yet? Podcast? We talked about your writing a little bit about your teacher isn't coaching too? Yes? So my masters is actually in athletic coaching because as a phys ed teacher, I did not want to move into admin, so I decided to get something that I was interested in, and kind of with that, I thought, well, what am I going to do now that I have young two young kids. I have a four and a two and a half year old, so I couldn't coach physical sports anymore. And I ended up getting my nutrition and wellness short this time last year. So I kind of combined the coach and the nutrition and the athletics stuff.

25:03 So I do a team mindset and wellness business as well, so I help young athletes kind of build their confidence. The focus the resilience on the court and field, and then I support non athletes with self esteem, with time management, and with personal development. So that's kind of another little thing that I do on the side as well. Well, I don't already have enough. So does your husband like and write his name in on your list? Yeah, well, my husband. The reason that I kind of do all this. My husband's schedule is so crazy. So I was finding, like, you know, after having kids, you can't. Before kids, I would work a lot when he would work, but you have to be home when you have kids. And my kids go to bed at like seven thirty, so I have all this time at night when he was working and I so that's kind of where my creative stuff came up. And I work on a lot of that instead of sitting and watching TV, which we do love shows and entertainment. But I wait until the nights that he's off to kind of do that and do all the other stuff after the kids go to bed when he's working.

Well, some fun just kind of I guess about me as to maybe why I am so into into everything my parents, I have to give a shout out to them. My mom is sixty six and she is still an avid runner. We just did a Thanksgiving run. She did the five mile. She came in first place in her age group, so that was pretty cool. And my dad for his sixtieth birthday climbs the base camp of now Everest. So they are technically senior citizens, but they don't really seem like it. And they give me a lot of motivation to be continue with health and wellness and self care and all that. So that's just kind of a little bit more about me and where are my minds.
