Poultry it's defined as domesticated birds used for meat and eggs. Now, chicken has been the most eating meat in America since the nineteen nineties. That's when it passed beef and pork. Now, back when chickens were domesticated, it wasn't for food. Chickens were actually domesticated in Asia, it were used for cockfighting, possibly over five thousand years ago.
