This is Jim Search stand up comedian, writer, podcaster, name the you name it as far as the world of entertainment, and I've probably done it or know somebody who does. So. Well, you're right. Let's just get to what got you on stage that first time? Wow? Well got me on stage? That's a good question. Man. Well, I feel like I was. How old was that I started to understand up? I'd been like the funny funny guy, the funny person in the in the room, my friend group, and I was like, you know what, I don't have anything holding me back as far as you know life. So I was like, let me get on stage and see if I got it. And well, you got it, that's for sure. Thanks man, I appreciate it. Do you know what we're celebrating on March the third. We got a lot you know, there's a lot of different things we can celebrate here. How about if we start off with this one. We're forty four forty four, Get some cool cut, col cut, get some cool cut. Now, whether you call them cold cuts, lunch meat, delli meat, sandwich meat, you celebrate the day with a sandwich. Now, basically it started back in the BC time. It was a way to preserve meat. But they've come a long way since then. Now they actually have them in ham and chicken and turkey. Now, get this, they started out in China about nine thousand BC, and they got to Europe about thirty five hundred BC, got to the United States around eighteen hundred something like that. So you know what you do is you grab yourself some cold cuts and your bread, make yourself a dag with sandwich, kind of relax and enjoy nice Monday. So do you have any favorite cold cuts? If you stay away?

But as of late, I have been trying to watch what I eat and be a little bit more healthy. So Turkey. If I have to pick, however, I try and shy away from it. You know what. I'm kind of there with you. Man, I've never seen it. I mean, I know like the cultural references behind it. But like now, I'll be honest with you, man, I never saw it, and you know what my life went on exactly. I still is able to live my life despite having not seen it.

Huh yeah, I mean you know, it's it's funny. Binghamton is like one of like the bigger cities in like around Like it's like a Binghamton is considered like the city around the smaller cities around it. But obviously comparatively speaking, Binghamton is not compared to New York City. Well, it's funny because just like two days ago, my mom has dementia' so I've watched TV with her and we were watching Lottery dream Home. Do you ever see that?

Well, I know people say, what kind of comedy do you have? Well, it's always evolving and there's no set thing. It's not like rock or country or something. But what would you say your your comedy is basically about? Uh? I would say, like, it's a little bit of like my life and just kind of like my my story if you will. And then you know, I get into like some observation stuff too, not like seinfode, like wo's the deal with hot dogs? Or whatever the fuck said?

6:44 So like, yeah, some observation stuff. I do some storytelling to like kind of like a little bit of like a long form story sometimes and yeah, just shit that people will find funny. So you said that you were always kind of the funny one of your friends. So when you're on stage and you tell a story to your friends that say, hey, man, why'd you talk about that? Oh? Like do it like when I like make fun of my friends on stage and they're like, hey, what the fuck? Right? You know, it's funny. I do. Like I have a joke about a friend of mine who says satrical instead of satirical, and he's never heard it, and the day I the day he does, then I'll probably have some explanation, or he may not even know it's about him, which would be even better. Exactly want to have that conversation.
