And then, like I said, I did some of the some of the light rock and roll, as I would call it right now, it's actually would be closer to country.

I much careful what I write, so I can always seem to find somebody that does a much better job, and and I gravitate towards that. What what when they when you gravitate to it? Like you said, what pulls you in? What's kind of hook that gets you that? Yeah, this is my song. You know, there's there's a couple of things. Sometimes it's lyrics, sometimes it's melody. Sometimes it's both and and then a wild card and all that is. Sometimes it just you know, I feel emotional about the song. The song will make me emotional. It will you know, emit some emotional response from me, and uh, and when I get all three of those clicking, I know for sure that I have to do that song. So that's that's kind of what happened with my uh with this brand new release I got out Wyoming went. That's exactly the three elements that came together.

They did that today in teen forty six they moved all one hundred and sixty seven people that were living there, so they moved him to this other island called the Ragnik Hotel. Then two years later they sent some sailors bike swing by and just check on him.

They moved him to three more different islands, and they kept running that same thing. They just went with food to support them. Finally they found this island, Kill Island. Now that everything they needed, so they thought this is going to be perfect. Came back, well, on this island, the ocean was too rough coming in. They couldn't go out and fish. So finally the United States just said, you know what we're giving up. We're just going to give you air drops from the Air Force from here on out. So that's what they did. But then in nineteen sixty eight, the United States President Lyndon Johnson, he said, okay, we are done testing our nuclear bombs on the Bikini Atoll, so as soon as the radiation goes down, you guys can move back. Scientists, Yeah, sure, Well what ended up happened in nineteen eighty six, Ronald Reagan, Yeah, he paid them all seventy five million dollars and said he now you can get boats and get your own food.

Back in nineteen sixty five in Alabama, march was organized to go from Salem to Montgomery. It was a response for a reverend Jimmy Jackson who was shot by a state trooper a couple months ago. As soon as those six hundred marchers they crossed the county line, the state police and a county posse over there. They just attacked and beat the hell out of those marchers, these billy clubs and tear gas. But the thing is, the whole thing was caught on live TV, so everybody in the nation saw what was going on. So immediately marches and eighty other cities were brought up. They were all peaceful, nothing else, but they kind of did that.

He found it came through his hands and he said, hey, this is one I think you do well. So he gave it to me. And like I said, I very first time I heard it, it was it was done for me what I needed?

Then he married a second wife in twenty fourteen. They were together until Willard died in twenty twenty one at eighty seven years old from natural causes. You remember with Willard, I. Do very much. Watched him quite often.

He married actors Margo Kidder for six days. Now, the whole six days, Hey, he' sat. The first five are pretty cool? Yeah. Yeah. He did marry another woman for eight years and they had two kids. Then he married his third wife. They were married for seven months before they divorced. He died from a heart attack in twenty seventeen.

So we'd be carrying on conversations. And back in those days, they didn't have any noise regulations on the planes, and boy, those things they would just come in there and rattle the whole foundation of your home. And we'd be in a conversation. As soon as we heard it, would stop the conversation, wait for it to go by, and pick up the conversation again. Then another another funny story that happened was they closed down the East West runway, and when they did that, nothing happened twenty four to seven, and we were so used to planes coming through all night long. When they didn't come through, we were waking up, going what's going on? So just there's a little tidbit there.

And so we had the well when I was a little kid, we had the planes going into Stapleton, and then we also had the helicopters going from Buckley to fitz Simmons.

Yeah, well exactly. I guess that's why they're all get in their walking papers. I guess so. Now after five years, she just decided to go all in on comedy. She's had a lot of really big comedy specials on Comedy Central and I Think Showtime. She first curally got known for them on The Chris Rock Show, then The New Adventures of Old Christine. Now that I'm not working as much, you know, in the evenings, I tend to watch a lot more movies. But yeah, I know, when I was going through my musical career, very few, very few movies, once or twice a year would go either like after Thanksgiving dinner or after Christmas dinner, we'd go out to a movie, but it was never much of a movie or that was more of my dad's thing.

She did that for six years. She's in the movie Slackers, Lightning Bug Hero. She married in twenty eighteen and they have an ongoing divorce right now. But they do have a son and a daughter, so we wish them all happy. Now, Lee, Well, you guys don't know you're talking to true Royalty League. You're actually in the country Colorado Country Music Hall of Fame. I am. I was the very first inductee back in nineteen ninety eight. They had a big thing down at the Aurora Fox Theater. It was quite the quite the show too. We had We had several other local artists that performed on stage, and the mayor of Aurora at the time gave me, gave me the keys to the city front one day and it was a it was a very very big thing for me. So I'm very proud of that.
