During the American Revolution in 1780, American General Benedict Arnold. Now he met with British Major John Andre. And Arnold, he gave Andre the plans to the United States Fort West Point. Well, they got discovered. But Arnold, he was able to escape actually to the British side. Andre, he just got busted. They hung him later on. So over 240 years later, Benedict Arnold, it is still synonymous with traitor. Now, if you wonder why he did it, his wife made him do it.

So she did. Today in 1897, their editor, Francis Church, he printed a response to her letter. It is now the most reprinted editorial in history. Francis, he gave a really eloquent response to it, and he wrote the real famous line, Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. Then he went on and talked about love, generosity, devotion, life's beauty. Francis' words, they became legendary, all because her dad didn't man up and do his job. In England, Stonehenge, it might be the most famous prehistoric monument in the world, at least nowadays. Back in 1915, it was just considered an eyesore. No one wanted that damn thing. So they tried to sell it at auction. See, you couldn't farm it, and it was just kind of a waste of space.

Now he had one child from his first wife, married his second wife in 1981. He died in 2002, 89 years old from heart failure. After Larry Eggman, he was born in Fort Worth, Texas in 1931. He first did on TV show I Dream of Jeannie. Then of course he hit huge playing J.R. in Dallas. His mom was a really famous actress. Her name was Mary Martin. She was really big in the 40s and 50s. Larry married in 1954, and they had a son and a daughter.

6:04 Larry had a liver transplant in 1995. He lived until he died from leukemia, actually, in 2012 at 81 years old. Writer Stephen King. He's 79. He was born in Portland, Maine in 1947. Sold over 350 million books. He's written over 70 novels and 200 short stories. 92 of what he wrote has been turned into either movies or TV shows. Call him the King of Horror. Now, his first book was Carrie. Then King married in 1971. So you get that pun now, King of Horror? They're still together, too. They have one son and two daughters. Every year, King, he donates $ 4 million to local libraries and fire departments that need to be upgraded. Actor Bill Murray, he was born in Evansville, Evanston, Illinois in 1950. 76 today. Started out on Saturday Night Live, 1977, 1980. Then his first movie is Meatballs. He's been nominated for an Oscar one time.

He sings lead for the band Oasis.
