Now, football season is full swing, so that means it's tailgating season. Tailgating, it goes back before there were tailgates. The Romans, they would party outside the arena before the chariot races. First tailgate party in the United States, it took place in 1861. Yeah, during the Civil War. Supporters of the Union Army, they camped out and picnicked before the Battle of Bull Run. Yeah, there was a hill that overlooked the battle, where the battle was going to be fought at. They had all kinds of food and drinks and all that kind of stuff. Ah, it didn't turn out so well. The South just whooped the North, but ended up chasing the fleeing Northern soldiers right through where all the people were partying on the hill.

Ah, the British, they destroyed it during the Revolutionary War. 1901, the United States President William McKinley, he was in Buffalo, New York, attending the Pan American Expo. Yeah, there's still like 500 Piggly Wiggies left in the United States and 18 different states. 1949, America's first mass shooting took place. Camden, New Jersey. Howard Unruh, he was a 28-year-old. He had won medals for marksmanship in the Army, and he fought in World War II. About 9.20 in the morning, he walked out of his apartment, just walked up and down the street. He killed 13 people in 12 minutes. Yeah, he shot them in their cars, on the streets, through the windows of their houses, through the windows of doors, all that kind of stuff. And then when he finally heard sirens taking place, he sort of went back to his house and he locked himself inside. Police were finally able to get him back with tear gas. He said he would have killed more if the police hadn't showed

5:35 up or he had more bullets. His victims ranged from the age of two years old to 68 years old. Now, he actually was in prison 60 years. Yeah, he died in 2009 at 88 years old. 1989 in Paris, France, the police computer system went crazy. It totally malfunctioned. It sent out arrest warrants for the rest of 41,000 people who lived in Paris. Yeah, and they were all charged with either murder or prostitution. How would you have liked to have gotten that in the mail? Out of 41,000 people, think a couple of them are going, how'd they know? 1991, as the Soviet Union began to collapse, they recognized the independence of Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia. Then they changed the name of the city Leningrad back to St. Petersburg. See, back in 1924, linen, he wanted the city named after it, so he changed it to Leningrad. Now, St. Petersburg was actually founded by Peter the Great, 1703. Let's check out who.

Now, you don't really talk about Pink Floyd songs. You pretty much talk about their albums, like The Wall and that kind of stuff. Well, Dark Side of the Moon, that is the fourth biggest selling album of all time. Michael Jackson's Thriller, ACDC's Back in Black, and the Bodyguard movie soundtracks. I guess that's Whitney Houston.

Married his fifth wife, 2021. Actress Swoozie Kurtz. Yeah, that's her name. Her father named her Swoozie. Yeah, he was a pilot during World War II. He named Swoozie after the B-17D Flying Fortress. It was a bummer. She's 82. 82. She was born in Omaha, Nebraska in 1944. She won two Tonys for Broadway. Her first movie was Slapshot, and then The World According to Garp, Vice Versa, Cruel Intentions. On TV, she starred on Sisters, and then she was Molly's Mom in Mike and Molly. Actress-comedian Jane Curtin. She was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1947. She's 79. She first hit big as an original cast member on Saturday Night Live. She did that for five years. Then on TV, she won back-to-back Emmys starring in Kate and Allie. Yeah, she was Allie. Later on, she did Third Rock from the Sun. Some of her movies are Coneheads, The Shaggy D.A., I Love You Man. Jane, she married in 1975, and they have a daughter.

He actually grew up in money, so he has no redneck, but he sure does a good job at it. Now, his comedy albums, the sales of them make him the top-selling comedian of all time. Now, he hit huge with the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. He's had a couple of Jeff Foxworthy TV series. He also did Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader for eight years.

One night she was dancing at the club and she was asked if she wanted to be a dancer on the TV show Soul Train.

Actor Idris Elba was born in Hackney, England. Yeah, Idris is 54. He hit really big on the TV show The Wire and then Luther. He hit even bigger in movies, though. Yeah, he played Heimdall in five of the Thor and Avenger movies. He's also in Pacific Rim, No Good Deed, The Suicide Squad. He had a son from a girlfriend. Then he had a daughter from his first wife.
