Wamna be rancher
Great experience listening! Thanks for all you do. Paul Campbell. Building material sales/ wanna be rancher in southern Idaho.

Entertaining and Informative
I love listening to Mike and Chuck interview interesting guests. I have made 6 purchases based on the advertising and interviews. American Giant, LifeVac, Montana Knife Company, Angel Studios, Black Rifle Coffee Company and Pure Talk. All of purchases, have been wonderful. I rarely fast forward commercials that Mike or Chuck narrate. They need to do more with more barbershop harmony. I find myself always trying to sing along. The others commercials annoy me and get skipped.

Great Podcast
Love, love, love Mike Rowe’s Podcast. He has great guests & great stories to tell. Love when Mom is on, too!

Old Friend Nathan
What a great podcast two old friends, Sharing , both in successful careers thanks for everything you do Mike

Your show can’t get much better than this. Thank-you for bringing us this story.

Clinton Romesha
This is so emotional for me. I appreciate the sacrifice of Clint and all of his comrades. I appreciate his dedication, his outlook and his worldview. I am so completely disappointed in the elite leadership of our country who have absolutely no real investment in our nation and I’m putting it lightly. It is sickening! They are not great Americans and never will be. Clinton Romesha is a great American, as are those with whom he served.

Dan Carlin episode
I loved the Dan Carlin one, but the audio stopped before it was over. I was glad to have the transcript to finish though. Hope it gets fixed!

Thanks for making me think
Love your discussions. Mike always brings a different perspective. And he does it as an amazing storyteller. I love eavesdropping on intelligent back to basics conversations.

Love!
I just love everything about Mike Rowe and this podcast is no exception! Wonderful and insightful storytelling. Mike has a way with words that grabs your attention and allows you to visualize the story. Interesting, educational, and entertaining!

You requested it..
Sooo because your lovely song asked for a 5 star rating. Plus you all make me laugh out loud at work all the time.

Tim Pearce
Wow! He had me crying! Thank you for sharing his story!

The war on MY military sons—skin in the game!
We raised our sons on a belief that military service was an honorable career, but to be honest, by the end of my husband’s 20-year career, he was praying they would opt in a different direction. It was early in the 2000s, and the writing was already on the wall—top military leadership was showing the cracks. We could mention all the still-great people there, but the main point was that we didn’t want our sons to be fodder for a machine that was demonstrably breaking down. Nevertheless, in a generations-long tradition, one after the other, our sons enlisted. And we were proud and supported them in their choice. They have both been, and continue to be, abused by the leadership they swore to uphold. We are all disillusioned. Patriotism is still high over here in our epistemological build, but respect for leadership has drained to nil. One son, after 17 years of service filled with loss of brothers on the field and blood on the line, was discharged for declining the Covid vaccine for himself and his family. His leadership abandoned him. The courts declared it was actually unconstitutional to paste the conscientious objectors with a dishonorable discharge, so at least there’s that—just an ordinary discharge, three years short of a full retirement and loss of all benefits. His marriage dissolved amidst the abuse (I’m not overstating here—they punished him for standing for body-sovereignty against an untested, potentially harmful mandate) the Army subjected him to during the last stint of his obligation. While his wife agreed with his stance on the jab whole-heartedly, the ensuing debacle of trying to get the Army to live up to their obligations while he was still serving proved too much for their union. Our second son has followed behind his brother and played the game with a bit more finesse, but he still suffers under poor leadership. The way in which top leadership ultimately betrayed the men and women who served under them still boggles our minds. While my husband saw cracks early on, even he would never have imagined the depths to which they would sink under burdens of CRT and DEI. That they would buy into it at the service members’ expense, ultimately the country’s detriment—it’s…well…disgusting. Gross. And for what? How did we lose them this hard? Pete—if not Hegseths, WHO? I mean—that’s how we Masons felt—still feel—but hopefully we’ll overcome this pathetic weak-mindedness as a nation before your children are tossed into the grinder. My heart breaks. I’ll be purchasing and reading your book—I don’t think I can get any angrier.

The way I heard it.
Always intertaining.

Nathan Fillion
I really like Nathan (and Mike - but really his grandfather) and the old friend vibe was so cool - especially the burrito memories. All of Mike’s podcasts are amazing but this one was completely beyond.

Amazingly authentic
Despite fame and despite great success, Mike continues to be someone that people simply can relate to. Truly genuine. Truly caring. Authentic America. Well worth every episode.

Matt Malone and a suggestion for Chuck
Your choices of guests to interview have been outstanding. Matt’s individual story and the larger stories of needs for good leaders in “the Trades” is much needed. Chuck, have you thought of contacting John Eldridge, Wild At Heart author?

I am always looking forward to the next one!
This is the only podcast that I regularly check to see if there are or any new recordings. I love the mix of optimism, humor, and the persistent encouragement to improve ourselves, our careers, and our country!

Absolutely fantastic
I have shifted from enjoying this pod, to loving this pod. Can’t say enough good things about it. Mike has a beautifully subdued way to disarm the guest and the conversations are fascinating

Larry
Thank you. Learned something new about JC.

Mike and Captain Malcolm Reynolds
Love the show all the time, but having Nathan Fillion (aka Capt. Malcolm Reynolds) was just ear candy! Two of my favorite celebrities on the same podcasts? GLORIOUS! Two intelligent and highly articulate men was just a pleasure to listen to.

Dude this rocks
Dare I say that this is the best thing since that wonderful program I had the honor of experiencing at about 3 years of age. I continued listening until his show ended. I used to be hushed by my dad when that program came on. My grandfather would say, “be still,” when this program came on.I knew what he meant but I still wondered if it would be ok to talk if I were perfectly still. I didn’t want to talk because it was mesmerizing. Yes, Paul Harvey! I love your longer forma where you review each chapter and then pontificate with a guest or your side-kick. “The way I talked about the way I heard it,” is nice. I am listening to them in reverse order - newest to oldest except on the ones where you suggest to listen to the episode which aired first. May I suggest having an outing with your mom, then your dad, then together? I am sure there will be more gems of those conversations. I would enjoy that immensely and a poll I performed says Many thousands would too. Pause 1001 1002 1003 — Good Day. Oh and tell Nathan Lane that he sounds younger on recordings.

Great Show!!
Great show about I interesting people and topics. From one of the great wordsmiths of our time.

Always a great story!!!
👏👏👏 this made my trip home from lower AL to the blue grass state go quickly!! Thanks!!

Love All Your Shows
Hi Mike- I love all your shows and am a faithful listener. I got a cool email from Home Depot today. It was directed toward the active and retired military communities. Apparently they have a Path to Pro program offering free training for a variety of trades. Just an idea for a potential connection with Mike Rowe Works. Hoping you already knew about the program!!

I can’t believe I listened to the whole thing!
In a world of 10 minute content Mike makes 2 hour chonkers. Often content this long gets repetitive and boring. BUT … Mike’s guests are so compelling and interesting the two hours go by in a flash. As a truck driver I say thank you Mike, both for the stand you take for us working guys, and the interesting entertainment.

Excellent
Always enjoyable and informative! I truly enjoy your curiosity and deep dive into such a varied amount of topics.

Refreshing
I always learn something positive from this show.
