Jeff & Steph talk about - After a woman died, she came back with 3 questions Jesus asked her, How would you Do?

Steph talked about her big move, and how god has helped her along the way.   Lisa Colby is a 47 year old healthy woman.  She dropped dead from a brain anyerism.  After being dead for 11 minutes she came back.  No brain damage or anything. She did meet Jesus, he asked her 3 questions he said he asks everyone.  Jeff & Steph talked about how they would do with those questions, and would like you all to think about how you would do,  You can watch the video  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HL5PrBrgru4

1
00:00:00.920 --> 00:00:05.160
Waiting the day night sounds. I gotta get to the

2
00:00:05.360 --> 00:00:11.519
stuff bugs, get some magic bees, me on my way,

3
00:00:13.199 --> 00:00:20.120
so magical as was my bone. We don't know. There's

4
00:00:20.239 --> 00:00:23.320
no for that today.

5
00:00:24.160 --> 00:00:26.760
Well, I want and welcome to these days that Jeff

6
00:00:26.800 --> 00:00:29.000
and Steph. Yes, I am Jeff, and thank you for

7
00:00:29.079 --> 00:00:32.200
joining us today, Steth are things out there in Nashville, Tennessee.

8
00:00:32.600 --> 00:00:36.359
Hey, Jeff, I'm going good, just just getting settled in

9
00:00:36.439 --> 00:00:40.560
my new place. Didn't even have furniture until yesterday, so

10
00:00:40.960 --> 00:00:44.159
I had a bed. So it's actually better than when

11
00:00:44.159 --> 00:00:46.000
I first moved to Nashville, when I didn't even have

12
00:00:46.039 --> 00:00:48.679
a bed. But yeah, just got a couch and just

13
00:00:48.719 --> 00:00:52.320
got my little dinner room set. So I'm I'm happy.

14
00:00:52.679 --> 00:00:55.000
Okay for all our listeners out there now, that song

15
00:00:55.159 --> 00:00:57.240
is from Steph. Her and a friend of her did that.

16
00:00:57.280 --> 00:00:59.719
What was it about fifteen years ago?

17
00:00:59.119 --> 00:01:03.039
That your Yeah, yeah, about thirteen maybe thirteen years.

18
00:01:02.840 --> 00:01:06.159
Ago, and they can still get it over on where SoundCloud.

19
00:01:05.640 --> 00:01:10.280
And yeah, reverb nation. I don't know where all. I

20
00:01:10.280 --> 00:01:12.519
haven't really looked at my songs in a while. I should.

21
00:01:12.840 --> 00:01:14.239
I should keep up with that better. I know it's

22
00:01:14.239 --> 00:01:16.640
on reburb Nation. That's where I send it to you from.

23
00:01:16.920 --> 00:01:18.400
So if you want to hear the whole song besides

24
00:01:18.519 --> 00:01:21.000
just that little clip, feel great. So you just got

25
00:01:21.040 --> 00:01:21.480
done moving?

26
00:01:21.560 --> 00:01:25.319
Huh, just got done moving. Actually planted flowers today on

27
00:01:25.319 --> 00:01:28.239
my little back patio. I have a really pretty just

28
00:01:28.280 --> 00:01:30.680
big enough to you know, put a little couch and

29
00:01:30.680 --> 00:01:33.159
a little coffee table and it's got a place for

30
00:01:33.239 --> 00:01:37.400
flowers all around the edge. So planted some flowers and

31
00:01:37.480 --> 00:01:41.439
it's kind of it's just been I've been so busy.

32
00:01:41.599 --> 00:01:44.680
This is, you know, the first and even even today,

33
00:01:44.719 --> 00:01:46.159
I've been busy. I had to go. I had two

34
00:01:46.159 --> 00:01:49.640
appointments already this morning for somebody who works part time.

35
00:01:50.200 --> 00:01:51.120
I'm really busy.

36
00:01:52.439 --> 00:01:53.120
Well that's good.

37
00:01:53.640 --> 00:01:56.120
God's kept me busy. Yeah, it's like I'm working for

38
00:01:56.159 --> 00:01:57.920
God now. That is how I feel, which is great.

39
00:01:58.359 --> 00:02:01.480
Well. Plus, moved into a place the pool, so you

40
00:02:01.599 --> 00:02:03.519
kind of want a little downtime to go sit by

41
00:02:03.519 --> 00:02:03.879
the pool.

42
00:02:04.319 --> 00:02:06.719
Yes, My goal was to get over there once a

43
00:02:06.799 --> 00:02:08.680
day and like even if it's early in the morning

44
00:02:08.680 --> 00:02:10.360
when I first wake up, go for a swim or

45
00:02:10.599 --> 00:02:14.120
at night. So far that hasn't happened. I went one

46
00:02:14.199 --> 00:02:16.560
day and I did actually swim and I read my

47
00:02:16.599 --> 00:02:20.400
book for about thirty minutes. So that was really nice.

48
00:02:20.719 --> 00:02:23.159
And it's like it's he's given me my own private

49
00:02:23.159 --> 00:02:25.560
pool because nobody's ever there. It's just me.

50
00:02:26.159 --> 00:02:27.960
Oh, I can't beat that.

51
00:02:28.639 --> 00:02:31.439
No, it's awesome. I'm loving it. I wish my dog

52
00:02:31.479 --> 00:02:32.960
could come out there with me. I don't think they.

53
00:02:33.439 --> 00:02:34.639
I don't know nobody's there.

54
00:02:35.159 --> 00:02:37.159
I could try it when we want to do that

55
00:02:37.199 --> 00:02:40.759
into the moonlight when it was right, I.

56
00:02:40.800 --> 00:02:43.680
Was gonna tell me not to. You know, this is funny.

57
00:02:44.120 --> 00:02:47.639
This place is so quiet that I was excited because

58
00:02:47.639 --> 00:02:50.080
I was coming back up from walking him, and there's

59
00:02:50.080 --> 00:02:52.199
a nice little sidewalk all around the place. I can

60
00:02:52.240 --> 00:02:54.520
walk him in the mornings and goes around the pool

61
00:02:54.560 --> 00:02:55.919
and all that. And so I was coming back up

62
00:02:55.919 --> 00:02:57.800
this morning from walking him and I saw a guy

63
00:02:58.560 --> 00:03:01.240
like taking a box to his and I thought, oh, wow,

64
00:03:01.400 --> 00:03:03.120
finally I'm going to get to meet a neighbor or

65
00:03:03.120 --> 00:03:05.680
see somebody who actually lives here. He was just an

66
00:03:05.680 --> 00:03:10.560
Amazon delivery guy. So I still don't know anybody who

67
00:03:10.599 --> 00:03:13.520
even lives in my little section. The people that live

68
00:03:13.599 --> 00:03:16.159
behind me. I have met that one couple that's really

69
00:03:16.319 --> 00:03:18.680
nice and even said they wanted to throw me a

70
00:03:18.719 --> 00:03:20.800
little party and introduce me. They said, everybody here is

71
00:03:20.879 --> 00:03:23.479
very nice and they want to introduce me. So it's

72
00:03:23.520 --> 00:03:24.319
been a real blessing.

73
00:03:24.680 --> 00:03:27.080
Well, moving it's a pain and is a drag and

74
00:03:27.120 --> 00:03:30.280
I and it gets your apprehensive and you've had all

75
00:03:30.360 --> 00:03:32.240
kinds of emotions and then when you're over there, it's

76
00:03:32.280 --> 00:03:33.919
kind of like a rebirth. I mean, kind of like

77
00:03:33.919 --> 00:03:35.960
in the Bible. I mean, God had people moving all

78
00:03:35.960 --> 00:03:36.400
the time.

79
00:03:36.800 --> 00:03:40.000
I know, I do feel I mean, I'm exhausted and

80
00:03:40.039 --> 00:03:42.840
my body hurts because I mean for a girl who

81
00:03:42.919 --> 00:03:45.759
usually does like ten minute workouts, the day I moved,

82
00:03:45.800 --> 00:03:48.439
I think I worked out seven hours straight, never stopped.

83
00:03:48.479 --> 00:03:50.639
And it's kind of been that way ever since because

84
00:03:50.879 --> 00:03:52.759
there's just a lot to do to get settled. But

85
00:03:53.360 --> 00:03:56.280
but yeah, it's I do feel like a new burst

86
00:03:56.319 --> 00:04:00.319
of creativity and creative energy and even like you know,

87
00:04:00.400 --> 00:04:03.840
this morning, God started speaking very clear and loud, and

88
00:04:03.879 --> 00:04:06.360
he was just saying, obey, okay, you got a table. Now,

89
00:04:06.360 --> 00:04:08.039
you got your bible, you got your notebook, you got

90
00:04:08.039 --> 00:04:10.639
a pen. You're going to start delivering some messages. I

91
00:04:10.680 --> 00:04:13.719
was just letting you get settled. And I was like okay, God,

92
00:04:14.520 --> 00:04:16.600
So I wrote down a little message. I posted it

93
00:04:16.639 --> 00:04:18.879
on my YouTube channel. I'll read it here in a minute.

94
00:04:18.920 --> 00:04:22.639
But yeah, he's definitely got some assignments.

95
00:04:23.000 --> 00:04:25.120
So have you had anybody to come over and welcome

96
00:04:25.120 --> 00:04:26.319
you to your new house? Yet?

97
00:04:26.519 --> 00:04:30.319
It's been so amazing. It didn't really have any help moving,

98
00:04:30.920 --> 00:04:32.959
you know, but I did have movers and they were great.

99
00:04:33.000 --> 00:04:35.639
But the next day, like one of my friends showed up,

100
00:04:37.120 --> 00:04:39.240
didn't even know that she knew where I lived, and

101
00:04:39.279 --> 00:04:41.480
she just brought me a bouquet of flowers, and then

102
00:04:41.560 --> 00:04:43.319
and sat down on the floor with me for a

103
00:04:43.319 --> 00:04:46.800
while and we talked, and then really, this is still

104
00:04:46.839 --> 00:04:48.839
like I just feel like, you know, God told me

105
00:04:49.240 --> 00:04:52.560
you're going away with me. You know, this is our honeymoon.

106
00:04:52.600 --> 00:04:55.240
It was like, this is like I've married Jesus now,

107
00:04:55.240 --> 00:04:57.680
and like we're on our honeymoon and He's pouring blessings

108
00:04:57.720 --> 00:04:59.839
onto me. And even though there's like some heart of

109
00:04:59.879 --> 00:05:03.279
my stuff. I'm not saying it's all sunshine and rainbows,

110
00:05:03.279 --> 00:05:07.199
but I just feel his love so much and so tangibly,

111
00:05:07.800 --> 00:05:09.560
and even the way like my friends showed up with

112
00:05:09.600 --> 00:05:12.360
flowers or the neighbors were so nice and welcoming. And

113
00:05:12.360 --> 00:05:14.160
then like the other day, I had just got a

114
00:05:14.199 --> 00:05:17.160
couple of plants, and that I had gone to this

115
00:05:17.560 --> 00:05:21.000
one plant store near my old house. That's they're so nice.

116
00:05:21.040 --> 00:05:23.600
But it was just like I felt the blessed Mother's

117
00:05:23.639 --> 00:05:25.199
hand on it. And then she made sure I knew

118
00:05:25.199 --> 00:05:27.279
it was her because they went out of their way

119
00:05:27.279 --> 00:05:30.720
above and beyond to like put these plants in special

120
00:05:30.720 --> 00:05:33.120
pots and put some moss on top and give me,

121
00:05:33.600 --> 00:05:35.639
let me find you one that's cheaper. And it was

122
00:05:35.680 --> 00:05:37.959
just such a blessed experience. And then as soon as

123
00:05:37.959 --> 00:05:40.120
I got the plants in my car, something told me

124
00:05:40.120 --> 00:05:42.480
I should ask her her name, and she said what's

125
00:05:42.480 --> 00:05:44.519
your name? And I said, Stephanie, what's your name? And

126
00:05:44.560 --> 00:05:47.360
she said Mary, And so I was like, there you go.

127
00:05:47.480 --> 00:05:49.720
I was like, I knew it. And then I get home,

128
00:05:50.160 --> 00:05:52.160
put my plants where they were, you know where I want,

129
00:05:52.160 --> 00:05:54.959
and they immediately just fill the place with great energy.

130
00:05:55.079 --> 00:05:57.199
And I'm leaving. I left again to go get this.

131
00:05:57.319 --> 00:05:59.800
I wanted a sandwich for some reason. As soon as

132
00:05:59.800 --> 00:06:02.920
I'll leave, this other friend calls and she's like, are

133
00:06:02.920 --> 00:06:05.360
you home, And I said no, I just left, and

134
00:06:05.399 --> 00:06:07.879
she goes, well, I've got father I still can't say

135
00:06:07.920 --> 00:06:12.040
his name, Jaziroge with me. He's an Indian priest here

136
00:06:12.040 --> 00:06:15.000
in Nashville, very very holy. Not a lot of people

137
00:06:15.000 --> 00:06:18.240
even know unless you Father Fine and I talked about it.

138
00:06:18.399 --> 00:06:20.079
He used to live at the rectory with Father Fie

139
00:06:20.120 --> 00:06:23.839
and help out at Saint Anne's. But he's so holy

140
00:06:23.959 --> 00:06:26.079
like that, if you've spending the amount of time with him,

141
00:06:26.120 --> 00:06:29.240
you've seen miracles because the guy just he'll pray for people,

142
00:06:29.680 --> 00:06:31.839
he'll pray from the Holy Spirit, and he'll know everything

143
00:06:31.879 --> 00:06:34.319
about their life. You didn't have to tell him anything.

144
00:06:34.800 --> 00:06:38.120
And then there's healings, there's miracles. So anyway, my friend

145
00:06:38.240 --> 00:06:39.959
was like, if you're home, I'm in your area and

146
00:06:39.959 --> 00:06:42.480
I've got Father Jesiroge with me, and we'll stop by

147
00:06:42.480 --> 00:06:45.759
and bless you your house. I was like, yes, that's all, sure,

148
00:06:45.800 --> 00:06:48.240
I'll turn around, I'll go right home. So I go

149
00:06:48.360 --> 00:06:51.319
back home and they show up and he gets out

150
00:06:51.360 --> 00:06:54.040
with his holy water and he came equipped with holy

151
00:06:54.079 --> 00:06:57.120
water and everything and said the most beautiful prayer that

152
00:06:57.160 --> 00:06:59.120
you would think he knew every detail about my life,

153
00:06:59.160 --> 00:07:01.879
even the way he prayed for protection over me and

154
00:07:01.920 --> 00:07:05.120
my endeavors. And all that, and then he went around

155
00:07:05.160 --> 00:07:09.560
the whole. Another interesting funny thing. My dog goes nuts.

156
00:07:09.959 --> 00:07:12.199
Anytime somebody walks in. He barks and wants to jump

157
00:07:12.480 --> 00:07:14.879
jump on him for a few minutes, you know, until

158
00:07:14.879 --> 00:07:17.600
he calms down, and then he'll be good. He was

159
00:07:17.639 --> 00:07:20.720
so quiet. This priest walked in and he just looked

160
00:07:20.720 --> 00:07:23.879
at him and he was He immediately laid down. It

161
00:07:23.959 --> 00:07:28.279
was like the presence of God, like the animals recognize it,

162
00:07:28.319 --> 00:07:31.480
like he was not. He just laid down and he

163
00:07:31.720 --> 00:07:34.759
never made a peep. And so anyway, he blessed my

164
00:07:34.800 --> 00:07:39.439
home and it feels good. And yeah, so I do

165
00:07:39.560 --> 00:07:42.920
have a funny story. Okay, you asked me. You asked

166
00:07:42.959 --> 00:07:45.360
me if I had any middle of the night stumbling

167
00:07:45.399 --> 00:07:48.480
around moments. So you know, when you know, when you're

168
00:07:48.680 --> 00:07:51.000
in a place for so long, you memorize everything. You

169
00:07:51.000 --> 00:07:51.959
get up in the middle of the night to go

170
00:07:51.959 --> 00:07:53.920
to the bathroom, you know exactly where everything is. You

171
00:07:53.920 --> 00:07:55.839
can do it with your eyes closed. So I get

172
00:07:55.879 --> 00:07:57.079
up in the middle the night to go to the bathroom.

173
00:07:57.120 --> 00:07:58.879
My first night, or maybe it was my second night.

174
00:07:59.160 --> 00:08:00.800
I come back to the bed and I put my

175
00:08:00.879 --> 00:08:02.680
right arm down to crawling to bed, and I'm just

176
00:08:02.720 --> 00:08:04.920
kind of crawling back in from the bottom of the bed,

177
00:08:05.279 --> 00:08:07.480
put my left arm down where I think the bed is,

178
00:08:07.720 --> 00:08:10.759
and the bed's not there, so I was off by

179
00:08:10.800 --> 00:08:13.759
a few inches and I just fell straped flat on

180
00:08:13.759 --> 00:08:16.000
the floor in the middle of the night. And I mean,

181
00:08:16.040 --> 00:08:17.800
it should have hurt my own arm. Actually it should

182
00:08:17.800 --> 00:08:20.120
have sprayed my wrist or something. But I'm fine.

183
00:08:20.480 --> 00:08:24.199
One good thing you got blessed happened.

184
00:08:24.399 --> 00:08:26.480
Well, this was actually the day before I got bless

185
00:08:26.680 --> 00:08:27.720
That's probably why God.

186
00:08:27.600 --> 00:08:34.240
Said she needs help. I got it all right, Father,

187
00:08:34.279 --> 00:08:35.679
I don't care what you're doing. Get over there and

188
00:08:35.679 --> 00:08:36.200
help her out.

189
00:08:36.720 --> 00:08:39.639
Exactly. Yeah, so I fell on the floor. And then

190
00:08:39.679 --> 00:08:42.279
another funny thing. I didn't realize, like everything's new like this,

191
00:08:42.919 --> 00:08:45.279
so just so many blessings, like they had just replaced

192
00:08:45.279 --> 00:08:47.759
all the kitchen appliances. And there's this sprayer. I've never

193
00:08:47.759 --> 00:08:50.200
seen a sprayer like this. But when you spray, you

194
00:08:50.279 --> 00:08:52.840
have to release it. Letting go of it doesn't stop it.

195
00:08:53.279 --> 00:08:56.159
So I like how it going Before it, you know,

196
00:08:56.159 --> 00:08:58.159
occurred to me to turn the water off. It's just

197
00:08:58.200 --> 00:09:00.679
spraying me and everywhere and all over the kitchen. And

198
00:09:00.759 --> 00:09:03.000
so yeah, that was that was like a loose that

199
00:09:03.080 --> 00:09:05.399
reminded me of like an I Love Lucy moment, but it.

200
00:09:05.440 --> 00:09:07.720
Was kind of thinking Beverly Hillbillies and that Fancy Sprier.

201
00:09:09.960 --> 00:09:13.440
Right. I may be a little more beverlell Billies over here.

202
00:09:13.720 --> 00:09:16.519
But we really undercovered a really interesting story we wanted

203
00:09:16.559 --> 00:09:17.519
to talk about today, don't we.

204
00:09:17.879 --> 00:09:19.080
Yeah, the woman that died.

205
00:09:19.279 --> 00:09:24.519
Yeah, this is really fascinating. This woman was forty six

206
00:09:24.559 --> 00:09:28.080
years old, just middle class woman, married, had kids, worked

207
00:09:28.120 --> 00:09:30.360
part time in her kids' school. Was just sitting at

208
00:09:30.399 --> 00:09:32.519
the sink one day one morning, doing her dishes and

209
00:09:32.519 --> 00:09:35.279
all that and drying us up. Boom just dropped over dead.

210
00:09:35.639 --> 00:09:37.840
And we do know for a fact she was legally

211
00:09:37.879 --> 00:09:41.240
dead for eleven minutes. I mean, that's undisputable. And then

212
00:09:41.279 --> 00:09:42.200
why don't you pick it up?

213
00:09:42.519 --> 00:09:45.679
She says that she saw a being of light. I mean,

214
00:09:45.720 --> 00:09:47.960
she just scrubs it. Maybe we could even link it,

215
00:09:48.480 --> 00:09:51.600
link that video underneath our podcast. We will do that, okay,

216
00:09:51.720 --> 00:09:54.559
because it's really great to hear her say her story.

217
00:09:54.600 --> 00:09:58.360
But she says, you know, she encountered Jesus basically, and

218
00:09:58.399 --> 00:10:02.360
he asked her three questions and it's apparently he's you know,

219
00:10:02.519 --> 00:10:04.320
she came to note the three questions He's going to

220
00:10:04.399 --> 00:10:07.759
ask all of us, and it's you know, she was

221
00:10:07.799 --> 00:10:09.440
filled with fear, and I think we all have that

222
00:10:09.480 --> 00:10:11.679
feeling of, oh, God, you know I can't there's nothing

223
00:10:11.720 --> 00:10:13.679
I can hide. This is God, he knows everything, and

224
00:10:13.720 --> 00:10:16.600
I'm scared. But it was just like such a loving

225
00:10:16.799 --> 00:10:21.279
experience and such a profoundly, you know, life changing experience

226
00:10:21.320 --> 00:10:23.919
that we wanted to talk about the three questions he

227
00:10:24.080 --> 00:10:26.360
asked because honestly, if you, if you can live your

228
00:10:26.360 --> 00:10:30.120
life with keeping these three questions in mind, I think

229
00:10:30.399 --> 00:10:33.120
I think you'll be living a successful life in God's eyes.

230
00:10:33.279 --> 00:10:35.080
And you'll be successful in your own nights too.

231
00:10:35.519 --> 00:10:36.879
Yeah, exactly.

232
00:10:36.919 --> 00:10:38.519
They're not easy questions to answer.

233
00:10:38.799 --> 00:10:42.799
No, they're not so the first one did you let

234
00:10:42.840 --> 00:10:43.559
me love you?

235
00:10:44.000 --> 00:10:46.960
And that one seems easy until you actually think deep

236
00:10:47.039 --> 00:10:49.639
about it, you know how often and I'll I don't

237
00:10:49.639 --> 00:10:51.559
even say this, going back to my days when I

238
00:10:51.559 --> 00:10:53.519
was drinking really hard. I love God, I read the

239
00:10:53.519 --> 00:10:56.399
Bible and all this kind of stuff. But when you're

240
00:10:56.440 --> 00:10:59.519
drinking and doing something wrong, you even though you want

241
00:10:59.559 --> 00:11:00.919
to be close, but you kind of want to keep

242
00:11:00.960 --> 00:11:02.879
him apart. You want him to be there where you're

243
00:11:02.879 --> 00:11:03.799
not doing such a good.

244
00:11:03.799 --> 00:11:06.240
Job, right, And that's what she said. She said that

245
00:11:06.600 --> 00:11:08.399
she was like, well, I tried my best, I went

246
00:11:08.440 --> 00:11:10.960
to church, I read the Bible. He goes, no, no, no,

247
00:11:11.039 --> 00:11:14.639
that's ways that you are trying to love me. He said,

248
00:11:14.679 --> 00:11:17.360
did you let me love you? And then she brought

249
00:11:17.440 --> 00:11:19.639
up the fact of how most of us feel so

250
00:11:19.799 --> 00:11:22.879
unworthy of that love that we keep our hearts closed off.

251
00:11:23.159 --> 00:11:27.039
Yeah, because as much as it's preached throughout the whole

252
00:11:27.080 --> 00:11:30.039
New Testament, it's kind of like, you know, how he

253
00:11:30.080 --> 00:11:31.879
did this for you, and how many times do you

254
00:11:31.960 --> 00:11:34.279
not let it just kind of open up and say, Okay,

255
00:11:34.279 --> 00:11:34.840
I accept it.

256
00:11:34.919 --> 00:11:35.080
You know.

257
00:11:35.159 --> 00:11:37.200
It's kind of like you hear people all the time

258
00:11:37.240 --> 00:11:39.240
and just sit there and go, well, God will never

259
00:11:39.240 --> 00:11:41.120
forgive me for this. God will never forgive me for this.

260
00:11:41.200 --> 00:11:42.960
You know, there's no way he'll ever forgive me because

261
00:11:42.960 --> 00:11:44.080
I did that, right.

262
00:11:44.559 --> 00:11:47.240
I think that's the greatest gift. I'm just realizing about

263
00:11:47.240 --> 00:11:48.919
the last three years of my life and going through

264
00:11:48.919 --> 00:11:53.360
a divorce and just being so heartbroken and sorrowful. When

265
00:11:53.399 --> 00:11:56.240
you get down to that place of real brokenness, it's

266
00:11:56.279 --> 00:11:58.960
really a blessing because you don't really have a lot

267
00:11:59.000 --> 00:12:00.799
of choice if you're going to it's come like you're

268
00:12:00.840 --> 00:12:04.120
drowning and you're gonna sink if you don't open up

269
00:12:04.120 --> 00:12:07.080
your heart and let Jesus love you, because you've got

270
00:12:07.120 --> 00:12:08.960
to let him reach out to you and help you,

271
00:12:09.480 --> 00:12:11.600
or you're going to go under. There's just you realize

272
00:12:11.600 --> 00:12:13.039
at some point there's no other way.

273
00:12:14.320 --> 00:12:16.960
How do you do? I don't. I wouldn't have done

274
00:12:17.080 --> 00:12:18.399
very well on that question. How would you do?

275
00:12:18.840 --> 00:12:20.879
I think now I'm doing good. I think I've been

276
00:12:20.919 --> 00:12:24.480
like everybody else in the past and had a you know,

277
00:12:25.120 --> 00:12:30.399
trouble receiving love and not feeling worthy. But that's what

278
00:12:30.480 --> 00:12:33.519
has made this whole experience feel so blessed. It's because

279
00:12:33.519 --> 00:12:36.080
I think I am letting him love me, and I

280
00:12:36.120 --> 00:12:39.279
am feeling it. I feel like I just got married

281
00:12:39.399 --> 00:12:43.120
and my husband is the most adoring, loving shower me

282
00:12:43.200 --> 00:12:46.120
with blessings. And my husband happens to be the creator

283
00:12:46.159 --> 00:12:49.120
of the holy entire universe, right, and that's you know,

284
00:12:49.159 --> 00:12:51.080
that's what he wants, even for men. You know, that's

285
00:12:51.080 --> 00:12:53.240
a weird analogy, but he says that in the Bible

286
00:12:53.279 --> 00:12:55.600
that I am your first husband, whether you're a man

287
00:12:55.720 --> 00:12:59.759
or a woman. He's he's our spouse first, first and foremost.

288
00:12:59.840 --> 00:13:02.039
So yeah, it's like, if you could get to that

289
00:13:02.080 --> 00:13:04.720
point where you're opening up your heart and not keeping

290
00:13:04.759 --> 00:13:08.360
everything so closed off, you would feel his love and

291
00:13:08.399 --> 00:13:11.559
his blessings. I have no doubt every single person, because

292
00:13:11.559 --> 00:13:13.759
he wants to pour that onto all of us.

293
00:13:14.120 --> 00:13:17.759
And that question is kind of well, you think, I, well, okay, well,

294
00:13:18.120 --> 00:13:20.320
so I really didn't let you love me. But that's

295
00:13:20.440 --> 00:13:23.440
kind of me not being selfish, so I'm kind of okay.

296
00:13:23.480 --> 00:13:25.120
But then he bombs her with the second question.

297
00:13:25.600 --> 00:13:28.879
Yeah. So then he says, did you see me in everyone?

298
00:13:29.519 --> 00:13:31.879
And her answer was probably like a lot of us,

299
00:13:31.879 --> 00:13:33.840
she thought she was a good Christian. She said, yeah,

300
00:13:33.840 --> 00:13:35.559
I get you know, if I saw a homeless person,

301
00:13:35.559 --> 00:13:38.480
I'd give him some money. I prayed for people. I

302
00:13:38.600 --> 00:13:41.519
try to be kind. But then, you know, she realizes

303
00:13:41.679 --> 00:13:44.080
that there were times that she would see the homeless

304
00:13:44.080 --> 00:13:46.919
person and all she saw was her own judgment, or

305
00:13:47.639 --> 00:13:51.159
they were dirty and stinky, or somebody was rude to her.

306
00:13:51.279 --> 00:13:53.960
And again, I guess she saw her own judgment. She

307
00:13:54.240 --> 00:13:56.840
didn't really see that there was somebody crying out. He

308
00:13:56.879 --> 00:13:59.759
started showing her that there was a very wounded person

309
00:13:59.799 --> 00:14:02.519
there that just wanted to be seen and how really

310
00:14:02.559 --> 00:14:05.879
it was Christ wanting to be seen in that person, right.

311
00:14:06.080 --> 00:14:08.919
I mean, so if you walk in along and hey,

312
00:14:08.960 --> 00:14:11.000
can you give me five bucks? I can get some lunch. Yeah,

313
00:14:11.240 --> 00:14:12.600
you give them a five bucks, and you think that

314
00:14:12.600 --> 00:14:15.080
I did my Christianity. You didn't look at that person.

315
00:14:15.320 --> 00:14:17.279
You didn't take any account of who they are what,

316
00:14:17.399 --> 00:14:18.639
you know, they were kind of gross and all that

317
00:14:18.679 --> 00:14:21.000
kind of stuff. You never really looked in their eye.

318
00:14:21.320 --> 00:14:23.320
You know, you didn't see that there was a person

319
00:14:23.320 --> 00:14:26.440
in there that Jesus loved and they need your help.

320
00:14:26.480 --> 00:14:29.240
You just kind of like, oh, this should be good enough.

321
00:14:29.279 --> 00:14:31.559
I'm giving you some money. So that's you didn't really

322
00:14:31.559 --> 00:14:34.399
ever look. And then not just homeless people, but it

323
00:14:34.399 --> 00:14:36.759
can be somebody who's having a bad day as your waiter,

324
00:14:37.000 --> 00:14:39.639
or you know, somebody at the supermarket who's just training

325
00:14:39.639 --> 00:14:41.000
on their first day and all was when they get

326
00:14:41.000 --> 00:14:43.320
slammed by people. There's so many people just don't you

327
00:14:43.320 --> 00:14:44.360
don't look them in the eye.

328
00:14:44.639 --> 00:14:46.559
Yeah, I think, how do you think you do on

329
00:14:46.639 --> 00:14:47.200
that question?

330
00:14:47.720 --> 00:14:53.120
Not very good. I'm the kind of guy who, you know,

331
00:14:53.720 --> 00:14:55.559
kind of like they're the ones on the freeway, you know, hey,

332
00:14:55.639 --> 00:14:57.360
can I have some money and all this kind of stuff.

333
00:14:57.360 --> 00:15:00.840
It's like I automatically just assume it's you know, you're

334
00:15:02.080 --> 00:15:03.799
as much time as you put the holding up that

335
00:15:03.879 --> 00:15:05.840
sign saying I'm a veteran, give me some money. I

336
00:15:05.840 --> 00:15:08.799
think you could have gone over them somewhere. And I

337
00:15:08.799 --> 00:15:10.799
don't know, I just I'm not very good at that.

338
00:15:11.200 --> 00:15:15.159
But I think I'm pretty decent when it's obvious, you know,

339
00:15:15.320 --> 00:15:18.559
like if there's a handicap person or an old person

340
00:15:18.720 --> 00:15:20.720
or something like that who needs your help. Yeah, you

341
00:15:20.759 --> 00:15:23.320
know all that. But when it's like, how often do

342
00:15:23.360 --> 00:15:25.279
you look for me, I'm not looking for Jesus. I'm

343
00:15:25.279 --> 00:15:27.639
just looking for the easiest people to help, actually, right, I.

344
00:15:27.600 --> 00:15:31.000
Think for me, I've always, for whatever reason, done well

345
00:15:31.039 --> 00:15:34.639
with the people who even like the homeless people. I

346
00:15:35.279 --> 00:15:37.320
see see people on the street, and I do look

347
00:15:37.360 --> 00:15:39.279
into their eyes and I pray, and I will pray

348
00:15:39.320 --> 00:15:41.000
for them. I usually won't give them money, because a

349
00:15:41.039 --> 00:15:42.559
lot of times they're just going to buy alcohol or

350
00:15:42.600 --> 00:15:45.679
something with it, but I figure prayer is more important

351
00:15:45.679 --> 00:15:48.799
for them than money anyway, So I will pray for them.

352
00:15:48.919 --> 00:15:51.879
I will somehow I have like some kind of sixth

353
00:15:51.879 --> 00:15:54.720
sense of I don't know what it's empathy, and I

354
00:15:54.759 --> 00:15:57.759
will feel their loneliness, I'll feel their pain. So I

355
00:15:57.759 --> 00:16:01.200
think I do definitely feel Jesus in maybe people who

356
00:16:01.240 --> 00:16:04.639
are down and out. But what it's hard, when it's

357
00:16:04.639 --> 00:16:07.320
hard for me is when it's just somebody like in

358
00:16:07.360 --> 00:16:09.960
your life to not take it personally like that you've

359
00:16:10.000 --> 00:16:12.440
maybe been really kind to you know, I'm thinking of

360
00:16:12.480 --> 00:16:15.360
one particular person. I won't say any names, but when

361
00:16:15.399 --> 00:16:18.320
you've been really kind and they and maybe this person

362
00:16:18.360 --> 00:16:20.440
has not been kind to you. They've wounded you, that

363
00:16:20.480 --> 00:16:24.279
they've hurt you, and you've had the graciousness to go

364
00:16:24.320 --> 00:16:27.399
above and beyond, to be forgiving, to think of them,

365
00:16:27.480 --> 00:16:30.080
to maybe do something considerate, and they don't even say

366
00:16:30.080 --> 00:16:32.840
thank you. That's hard for me. That's where I.

367
00:16:32.799 --> 00:16:36.279
Struggle, right And yeah, you're not going to look into

368
00:16:36.279 --> 00:16:39.039
them and thinking that what possible. They're just a jerk,

369
00:16:39.360 --> 00:16:41.720
you know what now, And I don't want anything to

370
00:16:41.759 --> 00:16:43.679
do with them. They're they're never going to change. They're

371
00:16:43.679 --> 00:16:45.159
a jerk. And all this kind of stuff you don't.

372
00:16:45.480 --> 00:16:47.080
You don't look to try and figure out is there

373
00:16:47.159 --> 00:16:49.559
something wrong with you know, what are they going through? Right?

374
00:16:49.679 --> 00:16:52.440
It's like, okay, God, and I think God will show you.

375
00:16:52.519 --> 00:16:54.879
I have pray. I'm like, show me, and I guess

376
00:16:54.879 --> 00:16:58.360
the answer is we're all wounded. And what's that old saying?

377
00:16:58.440 --> 00:17:02.480
Hurt people? Hurting people hurt people. So when you're hurting,

378
00:17:02.919 --> 00:17:05.759
you probably do have a tendency to hurt people. And yeah,

379
00:17:05.920 --> 00:17:09.400
that's the that's the category I probably don't do well with.

380
00:17:09.440 --> 00:17:12.039
I think about my old boss from the company where

381
00:17:12.079 --> 00:17:14.559
I was treated unfairly too. It's it's kind of hard

382
00:17:14.599 --> 00:17:16.880
for me to see Jesus and her, I'll be honest.

383
00:17:16.559 --> 00:17:20.839
There, Yeah, and he wants to make sure that he's there.

384
00:17:20.920 --> 00:17:23.079
Yeah, he's there, and like I don't know what kind

385
00:17:23.079 --> 00:17:25.400
of childhood she had and all that exactly.

386
00:17:25.799 --> 00:17:27.319
And I kind of think it kind of goes back

387
00:17:27.359 --> 00:17:31.039
to the first part too, because if you let me

388
00:17:31.119 --> 00:17:34.039
love you, okay, so this person hurt you, and so

389
00:17:34.240 --> 00:17:37.039
you're kind of shutting them out for Jesus saying, hey, man,

390
00:17:37.079 --> 00:17:38.839
I can take care of this person, you know. You

391
00:17:39.000 --> 00:17:40.759
just be nice to him, you know, and let me

392
00:17:41.319 --> 00:17:43.160
deal with them, and I'll deal with you too, so

393
00:17:43.200 --> 00:17:44.039
don't worry about it.

394
00:17:44.279 --> 00:17:46.680
Yeah, and it does help you, Like I have felt that,

395
00:17:46.960 --> 00:17:50.559
Like I don't feel so word I'm depleted. I don't

396
00:17:50.559 --> 00:17:53.680
feel depleted. So I feel like my cup is overflowing

397
00:17:54.400 --> 00:17:57.039
because of Him, because of God. And so I do

398
00:17:57.079 --> 00:18:00.680
have the ability to be gracious and forgiving. And I

399
00:18:00.720 --> 00:18:02.880
think that's where forgiveness comes from and why we can't

400
00:18:02.920 --> 00:18:04.880
do it on our own, Like we have to let

401
00:18:04.960 --> 00:18:07.759
Him love us and fill us up and then we

402
00:18:07.839 --> 00:18:09.920
can love other people and forgive.

403
00:18:10.319 --> 00:18:13.319
Now, the first two, okay, do you let me Jesus

404
00:18:13.400 --> 00:18:16.119
love you? Okay? That one, it's pretty easy to get.

405
00:18:16.279 --> 00:18:19.279
You think, Okay, so you pray, you know, Okay, open

406
00:18:19.319 --> 00:18:21.359
my heart, let me see, let me accept you in,

407
00:18:21.440 --> 00:18:24.640
let me realise I'm worthy. Well do you see me? Okay, Well,

408
00:18:24.680 --> 00:18:26.680
I'm going to start looking in people's eyes. I'm going

409
00:18:26.720 --> 00:18:28.839
to not judge them and all that kind of stuff.

410
00:18:29.000 --> 00:18:34.319
This third one's kind of tough because that's it's it's calling.

411
00:18:34.920 --> 00:18:35.720
You have to do something.

412
00:18:36.160 --> 00:18:39.240
Yeah, he said, did you use the wounds I gave you?

413
00:18:39.759 --> 00:18:43.160
And I'm like wow, yeah, and I would say not real.

414
00:18:43.240 --> 00:18:46.720
Well until now, I think I'm going through like probably

415
00:18:46.720 --> 00:18:48.640
the best time of my life, the hardest time of

416
00:18:48.640 --> 00:18:50.480
my life, but also the best time of my life.

417
00:18:50.480 --> 00:18:53.400
I'm just starting to see the blessings, which is great.

418
00:18:53.880 --> 00:18:56.640
So these all these wounds that I have that I

419
00:18:56.759 --> 00:19:02.640
do recognize God's sovereign. So if you're wounded, if something happens,

420
00:19:02.640 --> 00:19:04.680
he allowed it, or he calls it. He wanted you

421
00:19:04.720 --> 00:19:07.079
to go through it. So he expects you to use

422
00:19:07.119 --> 00:19:08.319
it somehow.

423
00:19:08.319 --> 00:19:10.279
Right, And like you said, he wants you to use it.

424
00:19:10.319 --> 00:19:12.480
And that when she was talking about the story with

425
00:19:12.720 --> 00:19:15.599
Jesus basically told her is the scars I gave you

426
00:19:15.640 --> 00:19:18.240
are not punishment. They're for testimony for you to help

427
00:19:18.279 --> 00:19:21.759
other people. That's really bone, that's really notice.

428
00:19:21.839 --> 00:19:25.119
Yeah, He's like, so all the failure was given to

429
00:19:25.200 --> 00:19:27.319
you so that you could have a more compassionate heart

430
00:19:27.359 --> 00:19:29.799
to uplift somebody else later on when they are going

431
00:19:29.839 --> 00:19:33.119
through failure. And what was the other one?

432
00:19:33.480 --> 00:19:37.279
Yeah, just get really testimony. That's what he wants you

433
00:19:37.319 --> 00:19:40.000
to get testimony. Yeah, And it's kind of like, and

434
00:19:40.119 --> 00:19:42.599
I think all of us we think our scars are

435
00:19:42.640 --> 00:19:45.720
either punishment or failure or you know, it's our fault

436
00:19:45.720 --> 00:19:47.720
and all that kind of stuff, But you don't realize

437
00:19:47.759 --> 00:19:49.240
that that's kind of important.

438
00:19:49.240 --> 00:19:49.519
To him.

439
00:19:49.599 --> 00:19:52.480
He wants you to use that you know, you know

440
00:19:52.559 --> 00:19:54.759
he can't have h Well, let's just do the easy

441
00:19:54.759 --> 00:19:57.720
one for Peter. You can't have Peter have you know,

442
00:19:58.160 --> 00:20:00.960
been a perfect little boy and still be the foundation

443
00:20:01.039 --> 00:20:03.039
of the church. It wouldn't it worked out that way, right?

444
00:20:03.400 --> 00:20:05.640
You couldn't relate to anybody. I mean, if you've never

445
00:20:05.680 --> 00:20:07.440
had any if you've never been through the fire and

446
00:20:07.480 --> 00:20:10.519
the storms, how could you be compassionate and empathetic and

447
00:20:10.519 --> 00:20:13.440
how can you relate to other people and you can't

448
00:20:13.480 --> 00:20:16.319
really lift other people up and give them the kindness

449
00:20:16.319 --> 00:20:19.400
they like. One of the ladies that's been there for me,

450
00:20:19.759 --> 00:20:22.200
actually two of them have gone through a lot in life.

451
00:20:22.240 --> 00:20:25.079
They've one was a single mom, her husband died early on.

452
00:20:25.359 --> 00:20:27.759
She had a naked on her own. Just is like

453
00:20:27.799 --> 00:20:30.279
the people that have gone through a lot have been

454
00:20:30.400 --> 00:20:33.000
able to pour into me right now during this season.

455
00:20:33.559 --> 00:20:36.119
Yeah, And I think just human nature because most of

456
00:20:36.119 --> 00:20:37.960
the people listen to us are Catholic and they always

457
00:20:37.960 --> 00:20:41.440
tell you, you know, I don't remember the book, but after

458
00:20:41.559 --> 00:20:43.960
Jesus's for he sends into heaven, he goes, Okay, now

459
00:20:43.960 --> 00:20:47.920
go for worth and preach the gospel. So every Catholic

460
00:20:48.039 --> 00:20:50.079
church they say, okay, now go for worth and spread

461
00:20:50.079 --> 00:20:51.799
and all these Most of the people in there like

462
00:20:51.880 --> 00:20:53.839
I can't go out and do that. I can't go

463
00:20:53.920 --> 00:20:56.720
out and preach or give testimonies, or I can't even

464
00:20:56.720 --> 00:20:58.599
go to the grocery store and said, you know, if

465
00:20:58.599 --> 00:21:00.680
you believed in Jesus, you know, he would have a lot.

466
00:21:00.720 --> 00:21:03.519
But they're just not wired that way. But then when

467
00:21:03.559 --> 00:21:06.160
you think about the whole thing about you know, just

468
00:21:06.400 --> 00:21:08.559
you don't need to do that. You see somebody hurting

469
00:21:08.599 --> 00:21:10.000
and you can just kind of like do something in

470
00:21:10.039 --> 00:21:12.680
your life, going what's wrong, Well, I'm gonna you know,

471
00:21:12.680 --> 00:21:14.119
and they have all these issues, and you go, well,

472
00:21:14.200 --> 00:21:15.559
you know when I was your age, you know, I

473
00:21:15.599 --> 00:21:17.440
was going through the same thing. And you can actually

474
00:21:17.440 --> 00:21:19.559
help people out a lot just by leading. You don't

475
00:21:19.559 --> 00:21:20.920
have to stand on the corner and breach.

476
00:21:21.279 --> 00:21:23.440
You don't. You don't have to. But I have found

477
00:21:23.480 --> 00:21:27.400
it easier to actually just talk about God. When somebody

478
00:21:27.440 --> 00:21:30.160
loves you that much, you feel them pouring into you.

479
00:21:30.680 --> 00:21:32.839
Like at the plant store, the lady said something about, well,

480
00:21:32.839 --> 00:21:35.559
the universe is so good or something. I say, It's

481
00:21:35.559 --> 00:21:38.000
not the universe, it's God. You know. I was like,

482
00:21:38.440 --> 00:21:41.240
I can't tolerate that new age lingo anymore. Like now

483
00:21:41.519 --> 00:21:43.359
it's God. I'm like, let me tell you what he's

484
00:21:43.359 --> 00:21:45.440
done for me. And I told her how he helped

485
00:21:45.480 --> 00:21:48.000
me find this place, and she said, I mean, after

486
00:21:48.039 --> 00:21:49.559
I was done, she was like, I'm so glad I

487
00:21:49.559 --> 00:21:51.400
met you today. I have chills. Like this is such

488
00:21:51.400 --> 00:21:53.960
a powerful story. So I think it does also give

489
00:21:54.000 --> 00:21:56.240
you the ability to stand up and say God's real

490
00:21:56.279 --> 00:21:58.680
and this is what he's done for me, and then

491
00:21:58.680 --> 00:22:01.319
maybe that can inspire somebody to be connected to him

492
00:22:01.319 --> 00:22:04.920
that maybe was even doubting. I don't think there's a God,

493
00:22:04.960 --> 00:22:08.440
but maybe there's this universal life force or some higher power.

494
00:22:08.559 --> 00:22:09.680
And I'm like, no, it's God.

495
00:22:11.160 --> 00:22:15.440
Yeah I don't. Yeah, I don't get that. That's pretty prevaliant,

496
00:22:15.519 --> 00:22:16.640
especially I can.

497
00:22:18.039 --> 00:22:18.720
It's everywhere.

498
00:22:18.880 --> 00:22:21.599
Yeah, it's kind of like, yeah, I believe in a god,

499
00:22:21.640 --> 00:22:23.599
but not one that's going to judge you. And if

500
00:22:23.680 --> 00:22:26.160
they just you know, it's just so beautiful. Look at

501
00:22:26.160 --> 00:22:28.680
the flowers. There's probably a god, but everything's just peaceful

502
00:22:28.720 --> 00:22:30.559
and all this kind of stuff, and it's like, no,

503
00:22:30.680 --> 00:22:33.000
you can't have all the good. There's you know, there's

504
00:22:33.039 --> 00:22:35.079
a lot, you're gonna have scars, and he wants to

505
00:22:35.160 --> 00:22:35.920
use the scars.

506
00:22:36.200 --> 00:22:39.720
He wants you to use the wounds because honestly, honestly,

507
00:22:40.680 --> 00:22:43.680
if we're following him, the only reason we have salvation

508
00:22:43.839 --> 00:22:46.319
is because he's using his wounds. Right.

509
00:22:46.519 --> 00:22:48.839
Actually, think about that. I just popped in my head

510
00:22:48.920 --> 00:22:50.720
when he said he wants you to use their wounds

511
00:22:51.000 --> 00:22:54.279
and scars, you know, to spread his word. You think

512
00:22:54.319 --> 00:22:57.119
about it. Thomas wasn't gonna believe in him until he

513
00:22:57.119 --> 00:23:01.079
actually put his hands in his in his wounds, and

514
00:23:01.160 --> 00:23:02.720
so that's kind of and he said, well, you know,

515
00:23:02.759 --> 00:23:04.400
you've got to do it. You've got to see my

516
00:23:04.480 --> 00:23:06.319
wounds and you got to feel him, you know. Bless

517
00:23:06.359 --> 00:23:09.480
those who haven't done it. So they basically for you

518
00:23:09.559 --> 00:23:12.319
to let them feel your wounds, and is the only

519
00:23:12.359 --> 00:23:13.319
way they're going to believe too.

520
00:23:13.720 --> 00:23:16.880
That's right, that's it, that's it. I mean, he's he's

521
00:23:16.960 --> 00:23:20.119
using his wounds, every bit of them, every every ounce

522
00:23:20.160 --> 00:23:22.519
of them to save us, and so we have to

523
00:23:22.599 --> 00:23:24.319
use our wounds that he brings to us too.

524
00:23:24.799 --> 00:23:26.359
That saves other people, it.

525
00:23:26.279 --> 00:23:29.480
Does save But you're right, I did. That is exactly

526
00:23:29.519 --> 00:23:32.720
what we people. The power we're given as Christians that

527
00:23:32.799 --> 00:23:35.640
we are we are we are following him and we

528
00:23:35.720 --> 00:23:38.440
are we are to imitate Him. So we are going

529
00:23:38.480 --> 00:23:40.680
to be wounded and we are going to be able

530
00:23:40.720 --> 00:23:42.480
to save other people through our wounds.

531
00:23:42.759 --> 00:23:46.039
So basically we have to submit. I guess would you

532
00:23:46.039 --> 00:23:49.359
call it submit? Just okay, I'm worthy, go ahead and

533
00:23:49.400 --> 00:23:51.519
let me let me all take your love. And that's

534
00:23:51.559 --> 00:23:53.799
going to be tough, you know, for me to do that,

535
00:23:53.920 --> 00:23:55.400
And I'm going to look for you. I'm not going

536
00:23:55.440 --> 00:23:58.039
to just push people aside you anymore. And I'm going

537
00:23:58.079 --> 00:24:00.000
to use my testimony and to glorify.

538
00:24:00.599 --> 00:24:03.640
And I think that the first question did you let

539
00:24:03.640 --> 00:24:05.519
me love you? At points she brought up is not

540
00:24:05.559 --> 00:24:07.920
just that we feel unworthy, but we're too scared to

541
00:24:07.920 --> 00:24:10.519
be vulnerable. It's like we get this idea that we

542
00:24:10.599 --> 00:24:12.400
just have to close our hearts off and be tough

543
00:24:12.440 --> 00:24:14.799
and be strong, and we're not going to open our heart,

544
00:24:14.880 --> 00:24:17.759
not even to God. And that's such a mistake because

545
00:24:17.759 --> 00:24:22.480
when you're really it's humility really, because that's pride. I

546
00:24:22.480 --> 00:24:24.000
think you and I have talked a lot about pride,

547
00:24:24.240 --> 00:24:26.640
Like I think that's the main trick of the devil

548
00:24:26.680 --> 00:24:29.319
that keeps God out and if you can be vulnerable

549
00:24:29.799 --> 00:24:32.440
and be like, yeah, this hurt and I was destroyed

550
00:24:32.480 --> 00:24:36.000
over this, and you know, I'm nothing without God and

551
00:24:36.000 --> 00:24:39.640
there's nothing special about me. But if I can be vulnerable,

552
00:24:39.680 --> 00:24:40.319
he can use me.

553
00:24:40.799 --> 00:24:44.079
Yeah, And did you talk about like you feel like

554
00:24:44.119 --> 00:24:46.640
you're a bride now and all that kind of stuff,

555
00:24:46.680 --> 00:24:49.119
and you know it's kind of starting there. Just look

556
00:24:49.119 --> 00:24:51.240
at little kids. When the little kids, like I don't

557
00:24:51.240 --> 00:24:53.559
know they're walking now, but they can't really and they

558
00:24:53.599 --> 00:24:56.359
see somebody, they are so excited. They are just yeah

559
00:24:56.839 --> 00:24:59.880
they they didn't They just smile and they run and

560
00:25:00.079 --> 00:25:01.720
to you and they'll just grab a holding in all

561
00:25:01.759 --> 00:25:03.759
that kind of stuff. Well, around the time you're five

562
00:25:03.799 --> 00:25:05.880
and a couple of people have pushed you away and everything,

563
00:25:06.279 --> 00:25:08.000
you kind of hold back. Now you're not quite so

564
00:25:08.079 --> 00:25:10.400
willing to just run up to people in Hugham, right.

565
00:25:10.839 --> 00:25:14.079
Yeah, we start to be guarded and that. Yeah, I

566
00:25:14.079 --> 00:25:17.039
mean there's discernment you can't just you know, like the

567
00:25:17.079 --> 00:25:20.319
world's not completely safe place, so you have to be smart.

568
00:25:20.440 --> 00:25:23.319
But yeah, we definitely need to let our guards down

569
00:25:23.440 --> 00:25:26.039
and be more open with each other, that's right.

570
00:25:26.359 --> 00:25:28.880
And I mean there is evil out there and so

571
00:25:29.160 --> 00:25:31.880
you know, he's not saying that, you know, throw push

572
00:25:31.920 --> 00:25:34.240
into the wind and just go up. You know, He's like,

573
00:25:34.640 --> 00:25:36.240
you know, just believe in me. As long as you

574
00:25:36.279 --> 00:25:37.880
believe in me, I'll kind of like guide you away

575
00:25:37.880 --> 00:25:38.759
from the evil stuff.

576
00:25:39.039 --> 00:25:41.279
Yeah, he will, And I do believe that he'll send

577
00:25:41.279 --> 00:25:44.400
his angels. You know. It says that to protect you

578
00:25:44.920 --> 00:25:47.359
lest you even stump your toe, he's gonna he's gonna

579
00:25:47.359 --> 00:25:50.200
send his angels to watch out for you. And if

580
00:25:50.400 --> 00:25:52.440
and if he allows it, you know, then there's a

581
00:25:52.480 --> 00:25:54.599
reason like if you get rubbed, if even if you

582
00:25:54.599 --> 00:25:56.640
you know something, God forbid, you get raped, you get

583
00:25:56.759 --> 00:25:59.119
you get murdered, you're going to heaven. I mean, like

584
00:25:59.599 --> 00:26:02.920
sometimes bad things do happen to good people. But you know,

585
00:26:02.960 --> 00:26:06.039
there there's a hard way of thinking that we can't

586
00:26:06.119 --> 00:26:07.599
always understand.

587
00:26:07.640 --> 00:26:10.799
No, and basically the whole Bible, and nobody can understand

588
00:26:10.799 --> 00:26:13.359
the whole thing, and there's always disputes on this and

589
00:26:13.359 --> 00:26:16.200
that and everything, but those three questions are pretty black

590
00:26:16.240 --> 00:26:19.160
and white. I mean, there's not a lot. There's not

591
00:26:19.240 --> 00:26:22.640
a lot. You can't really uh well, you can't fudge them,

592
00:26:22.799 --> 00:26:24.920
you know, because like like she said and that when

593
00:26:25.279 --> 00:26:27.440
she said. The hardest part was she was standing in

594
00:26:27.519 --> 00:26:29.880
front of him and she was all she felt was love,

595
00:26:30.319 --> 00:26:32.319
but then all of a sudden, she also felt dread

596
00:26:32.359 --> 00:26:34.119
because he knew everything that was in her heart and

597
00:26:34.119 --> 00:26:36.920
everything she had done. But yeah, so it's kind of

598
00:26:37.000 --> 00:26:39.799
like it's a little But that's why it's so black

599
00:26:39.799 --> 00:26:43.279
and white. I mean, you couldn't. You can't justify it away. Well,

600
00:26:43.359 --> 00:26:47.680
I had no I think we all happened. Well I had, Yeah,

601
00:26:47.720 --> 00:26:49.279
you can. I had a rough child. That's that's why

602
00:26:49.279 --> 00:26:51.759
I acted the way. You could have still actually helped

603
00:26:51.759 --> 00:26:53.920
those people out. You could have still told people about

604
00:26:53.920 --> 00:26:56.400
your tough child that instead of just used another excuse.

605
00:26:56.799 --> 00:26:59.680
Yeah right, we cannot use our wounds as an excuse

606
00:26:59.720 --> 00:27:02.039
to her other people. We will be held accountable for that,

607
00:27:02.480 --> 00:27:05.599
but we can be compassionate and understand kind of like

608
00:27:05.599 --> 00:27:07.559
a dog that's been abused that this time is just

609
00:27:07.680 --> 00:27:09.400
he knows how to communicate to each one of us.

610
00:27:09.440 --> 00:27:12.000
Because I love animals. This time has just popped into

611
00:27:12.039 --> 00:27:15.519
my mind like all dogs are born just unconditionally loving,

612
00:27:15.599 --> 00:27:17.839
sweet little puppies that want it. They want nothing but

613
00:27:17.960 --> 00:27:20.680
to please you. But then you abuse a dog over

614
00:27:20.720 --> 00:27:23.079
and over again. And it gets to where it's fearful

615
00:27:23.160 --> 00:27:24.720
and hommen in a corner and you come up to

616
00:27:24.759 --> 00:27:26.440
it and it's gonna snap at you, it's going to bite,

617
00:27:26.839 --> 00:27:30.680
bite you because it doesn't trust you. And that's probably

618
00:27:30.680 --> 00:27:32.680
a really good analogy for the individual I was thinking

619
00:27:32.680 --> 00:27:33.400
about earlier.

620
00:27:34.480 --> 00:27:36.920
Well, no, and it isn't you think about it. That's

621
00:27:37.039 --> 00:27:39.000
kind of what those questions are about. Okay, this is

622
00:27:39.039 --> 00:27:41.680
a dog. I don't know. But I don't think God's

623
00:27:41.680 --> 00:27:44.559
really or dogs really know Jesus or anything. I don't

624
00:27:44.559 --> 00:27:48.119
think they're on that level. But if you're But like

625
00:27:48.160 --> 00:27:50.720
you said, the people who know Jesus, they might carry

626
00:27:50.720 --> 00:27:53.240
in the corner, but they know, Okay, he's gonna help me.

627
00:27:53.319 --> 00:27:55.160
I don't need to just bite every time. You know,

628
00:27:55.480 --> 00:27:57.000
he's bringing me people to help me.

629
00:27:57.359 --> 00:27:59.680
Right. That's why you you know, when you have a

630
00:28:00.160 --> 00:28:02.240
that's why you are held accountable as a.

631
00:28:02.240 --> 00:28:05.759
Human, you know, because it's not just all instinct. You

632
00:28:05.839 --> 00:28:07.920
have some intellect in there too, right, But.

633
00:28:07.920 --> 00:28:10.880
I would say dogs do coming. My dog did recognize

634
00:28:10.880 --> 00:28:13.000
when the priest walked in there is something different about him.

635
00:28:13.039 --> 00:28:13.839
He gave him honor.

636
00:28:15.240 --> 00:28:19.359
That's yeah, it's kind of weird because I mean I

637
00:28:19.480 --> 00:28:21.960
didn't say in there that even God knows if like

638
00:28:22.440 --> 00:28:24.720
a dove falls out of the sky dead, it does.

639
00:28:24.880 --> 00:28:27.039
Yeah, and he loves the birds too, and it talks

640
00:28:27.039 --> 00:28:28.440
about like, if he's going to take care of the

641
00:28:28.480 --> 00:28:30.640
birds like this, how much more will he take care

642
00:28:30.680 --> 00:28:33.640
of you? So yeah, he I always think of that

643
00:28:33.680 --> 00:28:36.200
too when he says, how did you treat the least

644
00:28:36.200 --> 00:28:39.799
of those among you? Well, the least is also the animals,

645
00:28:39.920 --> 00:28:42.079
So I feel like, you know, you have to you

646
00:28:42.119 --> 00:28:44.519
need to be kind to the animals because those are

647
00:28:44.559 --> 00:28:46.200
the least among us too.

648
00:28:46.799 --> 00:28:50.680
No, and they're well in the beginning. But Adam was

649
00:28:50.680 --> 00:28:53.720
given dominion over all animals. Right, If you're given that,

650
00:28:53.720 --> 00:28:55.599
that means they're your responsibility. Dude.

651
00:28:56.720 --> 00:28:59.240
Yeah, it doesn't mean that you get to abuse them

652
00:28:59.240 --> 00:29:01.759
and treat them however you want. Dominion actually means that

653
00:29:01.920 --> 00:29:04.079
it's your responsibility to take care of them.

654
00:29:04.640 --> 00:29:07.759
So I'm kind of giggling because I mean, people have

655
00:29:07.759 --> 00:29:09.960
been listening to us. They know you and your birds.

656
00:29:10.400 --> 00:29:11.680
The birds communicate with you.

657
00:29:12.200 --> 00:29:15.960
Oh yeah, I got to tell you this. So I

658
00:29:15.960 --> 00:29:18.119
have not seen any birds or had them come up

659
00:29:18.160 --> 00:29:20.000
to me the whole time I met my new place they.

660
00:29:20.079 --> 00:29:21.480
I mean, I see them in the trees kind of

661
00:29:21.480 --> 00:29:24.680
in the distance, but none of them are talking to me, right,

662
00:29:25.599 --> 00:29:28.079
And I'm like, I've even said all sude. One morning.

663
00:29:28.160 --> 00:29:30.039
I'm like, are y'all just going to ignore me over here?

664
00:29:30.119 --> 00:29:34.160
Like anyway, no birds talked to me. Nothing's happened, nothing's

665
00:29:34.160 --> 00:29:37.119
come up to me. After I plant my flowers, I

666
00:29:37.119 --> 00:29:39.440
went and sat down and I started watching the video

667
00:29:39.559 --> 00:29:42.400
that we're talking about. And the moment I started watching it,

668
00:29:42.400 --> 00:29:44.680
a hummingbird came up to my window and started tapping

669
00:29:44.720 --> 00:29:48.000
on it. There you go, There you go, first first

670
00:29:48.039 --> 00:29:50.359
bird experience I've had here. And I pulled up that

671
00:29:50.440 --> 00:29:52.359
video that you and I were about to talk about, so.

672
00:29:52.680 --> 00:29:55.839
And f you, we really recommend it. It's only thirteen

673
00:29:55.880 --> 00:29:58.079
minutes long or something like that, but she give so

674
00:29:58.160 --> 00:30:00.400
much detail and you can just tell from the passion

675
00:30:00.440 --> 00:30:02.839
in her voice. Well we would link there, but it's

676
00:30:02.880 --> 00:30:07.400
really interesting and like what we like. We said, she

677
00:30:07.519 --> 00:30:09.599
was verified that she was dead for eleven minutes, so

678
00:30:09.640 --> 00:30:12.119
there's none of this little he said. She said, well,

679
00:30:12.240 --> 00:30:14.920
you know, she might have been having you know, synapse

680
00:30:14.960 --> 00:30:17.200
pops and all this kind of stuff. No, she had

681
00:30:17.240 --> 00:30:19.920
no brain. Weigh she was dead. And what's even more

682
00:30:19.960 --> 00:30:23.640
remarkable that this one really shockingly she had a massive

683
00:30:23.680 --> 00:30:26.480
cerebral hemorrhage. And if any of you know that, that's bad.

684
00:30:26.880 --> 00:30:30.480
So when she was laying there and they were getting

685
00:30:30.480 --> 00:30:32.160
ready to tell we can't do anything for her, and

686
00:30:32.200 --> 00:30:34.200
then all of a sudden, boom machine started going that

687
00:30:34.240 --> 00:30:36.640
she was had a pulse again. So they said, okay.

688
00:30:36.960 --> 00:30:38.759
So the doctors were all sitting there and there are

689
00:30:39.240 --> 00:30:42.920
one she shouldn't have lived. Two she has absolutely no

690
00:30:43.000 --> 00:30:44.759
brain damage. Now, that is.

691
00:30:45.400 --> 00:30:49.119
Right, and that's that's impossible unless there's something miraculous going on.

692
00:30:49.119 --> 00:30:51.359
Now, you can't have any kind of I mean, a

693
00:30:51.440 --> 00:30:54.279
stroke is basically a little cerebral hemorrhage. I mean you've

694
00:30:54.279 --> 00:30:57.440
seen people have little strokes and it deliates one side

695
00:30:57.480 --> 00:30:59.119
of their body or part of their face. And all

696
00:30:59.160 --> 00:31:01.960
this hers no brand damage at all. They scanned it

697
00:31:01.960 --> 00:31:04.680
and everything was fine. And but when you know, she died,

698
00:31:04.720 --> 00:31:06.400
they of course they checked and they were, oh, man,

699
00:31:06.400 --> 00:31:09.880
she's got a cerebralame it it's gone. Her brain's perfectly fine.

700
00:31:10.039 --> 00:31:12.799
So if you're doubting the whole story, it's kind of

701
00:31:12.960 --> 00:31:14.440
hard to doubt absolutely.

702
00:31:14.480 --> 00:31:16.519
And when you listen to her tell it yourself. I mean,

703
00:31:16.559 --> 00:31:18.880
you're just going to come away. You definitely, I think

704
00:31:18.920 --> 00:31:21.680
would come away knowing how much God loves loves you.

705
00:31:21.759 --> 00:31:24.759
And it's a very inspiring video. It's it's not a

706
00:31:24.839 --> 00:31:25.799
downer at all.

707
00:31:25.920 --> 00:31:29.799
So no, and she admits it that. You know, even

708
00:31:29.839 --> 00:31:31.759
when she realized that she had kind of failed all

709
00:31:31.759 --> 00:31:33.960
three of the questions that Jesus asked her, he kind

710
00:31:33.960 --> 00:31:36.920
of just she didn't feel any less love. You know,

711
00:31:36.960 --> 00:31:39.119
she's felt the love there, and then it kind of

712
00:31:39.119 --> 00:31:40.599
sucked because then she could feel that she was going

713
00:31:40.640 --> 00:31:42.559
back right.

714
00:31:42.720 --> 00:31:44.720
And he said, now that you know, you know, it's

715
00:31:44.759 --> 00:31:46.240
not your time, and I'm going to send you back

716
00:31:46.279 --> 00:31:48.599
so that you can live out these questions because your

717
00:31:48.640 --> 00:31:51.079
family needs to see what love looks like. And I

718
00:31:51.119 --> 00:31:53.680
think that's what he's calling, you know, all of us

719
00:31:53.720 --> 00:31:56.440
to do right now. He's he's put some of us

720
00:31:56.440 --> 00:31:59.079
through some really hard things, but he's giving us the

721
00:31:59.119 --> 00:32:02.039
wisdom and enlighten to see what love looks like. And

722
00:32:02.079 --> 00:32:04.839
he expects us to go show that love to others.

723
00:32:05.319 --> 00:32:08.279
So let that be your lesson for today. Go love people,

724
00:32:08.359 --> 00:32:11.440
Go show your love. Let the love flow exactly.

725
00:32:11.680 --> 00:32:12.759
I should have had that on there.

726
00:32:13.359 --> 00:32:14.559
You know, we should get that song.

727
00:32:15.079 --> 00:32:17.759
Who was it? The bell me Brothers, Your Love.

728
00:32:17.640 --> 00:32:19.240
Flow Them Love Flow.

729
00:32:19.319 --> 00:32:23.039
Yeah, all right, Well, we've got some exciting We're going

730
00:32:23.079 --> 00:32:25.759
to do another show on Saturday. It's leading up. I

731
00:32:25.759 --> 00:32:27.400
don't know if you've been paying attention. There's gona be

732
00:32:27.400 --> 00:32:30.119
two saints canon nice on Sunday, So we're going to

733
00:32:30.200 --> 00:32:32.960
talk about them on Saturday. You know, at least one

734
00:32:33.000 --> 00:32:34.960
of them, you know, of Yeah, I know.

735
00:32:35.079 --> 00:32:37.039
I mean I haven't been keeping up with the news obviously,

736
00:32:37.079 --> 00:32:40.279
I've been moving. But Blessed Carlos Acutus, I think that's

737
00:32:40.359 --> 00:32:43.359
how you say his name. He was a teenage boy

738
00:32:43.400 --> 00:32:46.240
that died recently. He's like one of the quickest people

739
00:32:46.240 --> 00:32:48.759
will ever be canonized a saint, and he used the

740
00:32:48.839 --> 00:32:54.599
internet to to extol the Eucharist basically, and to help

741
00:32:54.880 --> 00:32:58.359
other teenagers not fall into the pitfalls of the dark

742
00:32:58.400 --> 00:33:01.759
side of the internet, to use it to glorify God.

743
00:33:02.200 --> 00:33:04.640
So you definitely want to tune in on Saturday or

744
00:33:04.640 --> 00:33:08.359
Sunday morning before they actually do the cannonationan ceremony over there.

745
00:33:08.400 --> 00:33:12.039
I guess that's so. I'm assuming I don't think Leo

746
00:33:12.240 --> 00:33:14.799
probably approved it. It must have been approviated by Francis when

747
00:33:14.839 --> 00:33:16.359
you think, I think so.

748
00:33:16.720 --> 00:33:19.559
I think it was. Yeah, because there's already been so

749
00:33:19.599 --> 00:33:21.440
many miracles associated with him.

750
00:33:21.640 --> 00:33:23.200
This is going to sound bad, but you know, I

751
00:33:23.240 --> 00:33:24.680
have to make a joke every once in a while.

752
00:33:24.920 --> 00:33:28.079
So this guy is basically the patron saint of the Internet.

753
00:33:28.440 --> 00:33:30.880
So for his feast day, will it'll be like Cheetos

754
00:33:30.880 --> 00:33:31.519
and chips and.

755
00:33:35.160 --> 00:33:38.000
That's funny. I don't know, so yeah, all it is.

756
00:33:38.039 --> 00:33:41.359
And it's Pierre Georgio Brosaudi. He's the one who started.

757
00:33:42.160 --> 00:33:44.039
What did Georgio for? So I don't know, we should know.

758
00:33:44.079 --> 00:33:45.960
We'll talk about it Sunday. I know that he was

759
00:33:46.720 --> 00:33:50.680
he's the patron saying for university Catholic, so like the

760
00:33:50.720 --> 00:33:54.400
Catholic ministry of all the colleges, all the college kids.

761
00:33:54.480 --> 00:33:56.720
I know that he's the patron saint. So he's going

762
00:33:56.759 --> 00:33:59.680
to be canonized with Carlos Acutis on Sunday.

763
00:34:00.079 --> 00:34:01.160
So that's pretty exciting.

764
00:34:01.559 --> 00:34:05.400
Yeah, it really is me too, two really awesome, two

765
00:34:05.400 --> 00:34:08.400
really awesome saints here and then really I think for

766
00:34:08.519 --> 00:34:12.360
these times with the Internet, so I mean, we use

767
00:34:12.400 --> 00:34:16.119
it for everything, so it's good for him that I know,

768
00:34:16.239 --> 00:34:18.519
I do know some of the exorcists that do online

769
00:34:18.559 --> 00:34:21.400
deliverance sessions, they will invoke him. And as for his

770
00:34:21.480 --> 00:34:25.559
prayers and intersession, and Father Rosetti said, that's the only

771
00:34:25.599 --> 00:34:28.519
way all the technical difficulties stopped. He was having so

772
00:34:28.559 --> 00:34:32.239
many technical difficulties when he was doing these online deliverance

773
00:34:32.280 --> 00:34:35.519
courses that millions would watch, and when he started invoking

774
00:34:35.559 --> 00:34:38.320
Carlos Acutus, all the difficulties stopped.

775
00:34:38.559 --> 00:34:40.519
So there you go. So now you have a different

776
00:34:40.559 --> 00:34:42.400
another saint that will help you out if you've got

777
00:34:42.440 --> 00:34:44.639
bad internet, especially if you're in a rural area like me.

778
00:34:45.239 --> 00:34:49.639
Right. Oh, and before I forget, just just to and

779
00:34:49.960 --> 00:34:51.840
this was a story of one of the priests said

780
00:34:51.840 --> 00:34:53.960
about the rectory too. They had these plumbing issues and

781
00:34:54.360 --> 00:34:57.400
all these plumbers came out, couldn't find any problems, and

782
00:34:57.440 --> 00:34:59.440
they finally just put some holy water in the toilet

783
00:34:59.440 --> 00:35:02.119
and all the pla I mean problems stopped. Well, right

784
00:35:02.159 --> 00:35:04.360
before I left my house and moved to this town home,

785
00:35:04.880 --> 00:35:07.719
the toilet was like messed up and I couldn't get

786
00:35:07.760 --> 00:35:10.079
it to work. And I was like, great, you know

787
00:35:10.599 --> 00:35:12.760
my ex moving back and he's gonna think I did

788
00:35:12.760 --> 00:35:15.079
this on purpose, and I didn't have the money to call.

789
00:35:15.360 --> 00:35:19.599
I couldn't get it. Nothing would work. I remembered that story.

790
00:35:19.679 --> 00:35:22.079
I poured some holy water in it. Just a couple drops,

791
00:35:22.280 --> 00:35:26.920
flushed like a dream. Works perfectly. So keep your holy

792
00:35:26.920 --> 00:35:29.639
water handy. It's very handy, that's true.

793
00:35:30.400 --> 00:35:32.000
Since we're just kind of we're getting ready to leave

794
00:35:32.000 --> 00:35:33.880
you guys, we were going to. But this is a

795
00:35:33.880 --> 00:35:35.639
pretty cut story. It's kind of like that, you know

796
00:35:35.679 --> 00:35:38.199
about the holy water, except it wasn't at our local

797
00:35:38.280 --> 00:35:41.599
church out here and Buyer's. The roof was bad, it's

798
00:35:41.639 --> 00:35:43.960
fifty years old, needs to be replaced, all this kind

799
00:35:44.000 --> 00:35:47.440
of stuff, And so the priests when Sunday, he goes, Okay,

800
00:35:47.840 --> 00:35:50.239
I'm having trouble with the archdiocese, but we need you

801
00:35:50.280 --> 00:35:52.679
all to pray for sixty five thousand dollars. We need

802
00:35:52.719 --> 00:35:53.840
to get this roof fixed.

803
00:35:54.000 --> 00:35:54.199
You know.

804
00:35:54.719 --> 00:35:56.239
Just keep your prayers in there, you know, so we

805
00:35:56.239 --> 00:35:58.039
can get that sixty five thousand dollars to get the

806
00:35:58.559 --> 00:36:01.119
we need a renewed roof. So next Sunday he comes up,

807
00:36:01.199 --> 00:36:03.280
he goes, so do you guys all remember that hailstorm

808
00:36:03.320 --> 00:36:05.400
we had on Tuesday, Well, that took care of the

809
00:36:05.440 --> 00:36:07.639
sixty five thousand dollars from the insurance. We also got

810
00:36:07.719 --> 00:36:08.960
enough now we can redo the rectory.

811
00:36:09.960 --> 00:36:11.440
Oh my gosh, that's hilarious.

812
00:36:11.760 --> 00:36:15.559
Well, so okay, so you guys all have a great day.

813
00:36:15.559 --> 00:36:18.119
Thanks for catching another episode of US on these times,

814
00:36:18.159 --> 00:36:20.400
and Jeff and Steph, here's hoping you don't lose hope.

815
00:36:20.760 --> 00:36:22.880
And until next time, we are all in it together.
