Trash.
Waste of time. Extremely transphobic and offensive.

Another slam dunk
Riley Gaines interview was fantastic! So thankful to hear a confirmation that the tide is turning on the ridiculousness of men dressing up like women and taking our trophies! Keep up the great fight

Swimming Against the Current with Riley Gaines
Great show. Thank you for having her on and letting her tell her story on your platform.

Swimming Against the Current
Kudos, Mike!!! Proud to share your podcast with my grown kids and others who need to hear sound reason in this world-gone-mad. And the swimming podcast? A thousand times YES!!!

Pure pleasure
Always informative and entertaining. Podcast 388. What a brave woman to challenge trans culture and fight for womenā€™s rights and common sense in our society. Great listen for all.

Riley Gaines
I am amazed by her courage and willingness to stand up for what is right! Itā€™s time for honest, hardworking and sensible people to fight back against this craziness! Stay strong and thanks to Mike and, the surprisingly still employed Chuck for having her on!

Riley Gaines
Thank you for having Riley Gaines on the show. Her honest and well-spoken stance was delivered with grace and conviction.

Mike Rowe for President!
Always love these podcasts. Thank you for what you do!

I enjoy this podcast!
Mike is one of the few who can sing Opera and also talk to the man and woman on Main Street! Thanks for championing the people who put in an honest days work for an honest days pay. Thanks for the laughs and respectful entertainment. Joe

Make me a fire fighter
I just wanted to say thank you Mike. We host a podcast focused on this topic and we have the upmost faith that volunteerism is not dead. That said we have to get the message out to everyone who didnā€™t know they could be a firefighter. So thanks for doing just that. It tastes like burning podcast.

The Way I Heard It Episode 387
Your dedication to promoting trades is admirable. The enthusiasm you carry when bringing awareness to first responders is incredible. And now, your noble campaign to bring back patriotism to our country, is another reason to love you, your efforts and this podcast even more! ā™„ļø -Tami Blake

Rowe For President
Appreciate your ministry, show, podcasts, scholarship funding etc. Great job with helping the small guys, the entrepreneurs, the trade schools etc. My sons are both fire/emts. One is also a combat vet, Afg. Go Mike! Please, consider politics. Use need ya man.

Great Way to Kill an Hour
A great podcast by a great storytelleranf interviewer covering a wide variety of topics and guests. Well worth the time to listen in.

So amazing!
My mother always listened to this podcast in the car while we went somewhere and I fell in love with it. We both agreed that Mike has a voice of a father that would be working on his car while you would be sitting in the back of the garage, listening to the music he had on, while eating your beef jerky stick he got you while he went to the closest auto part store. In short, he gives off good vibes. Love you, Mike.

Great podcastā£ļøPeggy enjoy your stories and style of writing. Natural story telleršŸ‘šŸ¼ Love your guest and stories the way you heard it, Mike;)

Five Lousy Stars?
I left five PERFECT stars! This was a great one, though I always say that. The one problem was all the talk about how small the world has gotten. It infected me with me with the Disney song ā€œItā€™s a Small World After All.ā€ Unfortunately thereā€™s no vaccine for that virusā€¦ (or is there?) Now, Iā€™m going to watch Apocalypto. Thanks for the recommendation and for another fascinating episode!

Outstanding
I have been a fan of Mike forever , Super interesting and funny. Another hit!

Mike never disappoints
Itā€™s just good interviews with great people about interesting topics.

American flannel
Excellent subject , guest and host. Iā€™m 4th generation apparel guy originally from Philly. Everything talked about on this episode is right on. Canā€™t wait to read the book and listen to more episodes of ā€œthe way I heard itā€

A multitude of Thanks for the Bill Whittle collaboration. Two of my earliest & most loaded listens in pod player over the last several yrs nowā€¦ šŸ¦… šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø šŸ“ā€ā˜ ļøšŸ‡ŗšŸ‡øšŸ—½šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡øšŸ“ā€ā˜ ļøšŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø (ā€¦.rest of the comment remains from original review posted back in earliest days of the showšŸ¤ØšŸ˜Žā€¦) Serendipitous ā€¦. Thatā€™s an apt word for this show. Itā€™s a superb balance to all my other listen & learn choices in podcasts (of politic, culture, news, info, science) ā€¦ ā€˜Heard Itā€™ ā€“ is engaging, brief, informative, highs, lows, history, hard work, luck, lots of moral and motivational lessons woven cleverly, delivered with Hall of Fame level skill. Sometimes the subject/mystery is obvious (to me) at the go; others I have to listen 2x to get itā€“ a challenge in each episode. ā€œLaikaā€ the dog was one; knew the story because my big sis named her first dog for that canine hero. But I never really knew the full rest of the storyā€¦listened 3x straight. Lots of feel-good tales, but life lessons also come in shades of melancholy. Chanced into this while searching something else on my smartyphone. A cpl days prior, had discussion with a neighbor about how radio and media has gone into such a sorry state since Paul Harvey left us. Typing this as I listen to the ā€œCode Breakerā€ episode!!! Holy cow ! What a twist!! Legendary storyā€¦one I wonā€™t forget. Thatā€™s serendipity. ā€¦wondering if thereā€™s a ā€œBig Bad Johnā€ story to be found in the queue; always loved that song when it came on the radio ā€¦

Love it
Love this show. Makes me think every time I have a chance to listen to it. Please keep it going

Awesome podcast!
The the variety of topics, humor and guests!

Toothpicks
I listen to YouTube fellas every day when Iā€™m walking, the neighbors must think Iā€™m nuts every day laughing out loud and you guys are gems

Outstanding Podcast
Interesting stories, well told. Very funny and you accidentally might learn something along the way. I also love that the Scarcity Brain episode ended with a request for a rating.

Long view
Iā€™ve listened since day one, every single episode. It is one of my main highlights to enjoy each week. I havenā€™t felt the need to review until now. The latest episode with Scott Mann was, indeed, one of the best episodes that Iā€™ve had the pleasure of listening to. Period. And I listen to quite a few podcasts. Mike and Chuck, you two go together like peas and carrots. I look forward to each episode because I learn something new every time. Not necessarily what to think, but how to think and process and push forward every day in this crazy life we live. I am loyal to my profession, my work, my interests, my friends and my family. In increasing importance. Not too much else. Iā€™ve added you two and this podcast to my short list. Fair winds and following seas, gentlemen.

Love this podcast
I especially love it when your dear mother is on. Would be interested on purchasing a book of her clever poems. Mike, you seem to dig into behind the scene facts about interesting characters. I could do without the ā€œbathroomā€ humor, reminds me of 12 year old boys. You are better than that. But nevertheless, I appreciate your and Chuckā€™s banter and both of your singing voices. You are truly talented and have an amazing memory both of poetry and lyrics.

Speaking in tongues
I donā€™t know what percent of your audience does speak in tongues Mr. Rowe. I know that this individual does. I donā€™t think Iā€™ve ever missed an episode of your show. I guess missing a fraction of a percentage isnā€™t too bad. Iā€™m sure your mother was delightful in the latest episode, but after your comments, I just couldnā€™t be bothered to listen to what you had to say after what you had to say about people like me.

Comment
I do like this podcast. However I do speak in tongues!

I look forward to the episodes with Mike and his mom
I love Mike and his podcast. Chuck is hilarious but I really enjoy the episodes when his mom joins in as well. The three of them itā€™s just amazing and I am always laughing. Iā€™m a blind mom of three boys ages nine years old, five years old and one years old and sometimes I feel like Iā€™m on house arrest with a bunch of crazy inmates who donā€™t listen to me and this podcast givesme the boost that I need when it comes on especially when Mike tells the story beyond the story or when his mom comes on even when Chuck and Mike reminisce about things. Iā€™ve started re-watching dirty jobs with my fiancĆ© on occasion and itā€™s great especially when he describes the episodes to me although frankly Mike the way that you talk itā€™s wonderful because sometimes I donā€™t need eyes because I can picture myself there going through all the crazy. Iā€™m glad that you titled your podcast after your book because I loved it. Thank you so much for the wonderful episodes and keep up the great work and the funny. please tell your mom I canā€™t wait for her book and I hope that she reads it on audible so that I can listen to it. I love when the authors read their own books. Unfortunately, I wasnā€™t able to get about your father book on audible and I had to hear someone else read it although it was OK it wasnā€™t as good as about, my mother or vacuuming in the nude. please donā€™t get me wrong. Her second book was great. I just know I wouldā€™ve loved it more. Had I heard her voice instead of the other narrator that was reading it. I am sitting on pins and needles waiting for her fourth to drop and for more awesome episodes with all of you.
